Paying players isn't cheating if you can't do shite with them. You still have to develop them. Coaches like Hugh Freeze and Pat Dye had an actual payment system in place for their players. Do you know how many national championships the two men had between them as head coaches? Zero.
Also...NIL has made paying players legal so who gives a shite about this argument anymore?
