i agree. AJ isn't the most talented, but he has proven he can play at the NFL...maybe not the best, but good enough to stick around a while.

I think he can be a starter. He is a winner. I always thought he was way underrated. Hard for me to admit, but I think he's better than Flynn.

He had more time as a starter in college than Flynn did, but he made better decisions, certainly.

He got to rehab his shoulder last year and study under nfl coaches. He has been brought along slowly and not throw in deep water too soon.
Dalton is the qb for now, but AJ will get an honest shot to make it.
I think management knows what they got and seem happy.

Throw anyone on a shitty team and they will look bad.

Dalton is a very good NFL QB. I doubt AJ ever beats him out

His performance since Dalton's injury has been enough for some team to go after him to be their starter.

He's not an NFL starter yet for anyone. He could be, but he's not yet.

Solid QB but if he gets paid, it will be Flynn 2.0. He's on a good team. Remember Matt Cassel? Not to take anything away from AJ but lets pump the brakes he's a rookie that is playing well.

he has a chance and I guess that is all one could ask for. I wish him the best.

Based on NFL history AJ QBing for Bengals against Steelers in playoffs will not go well.

He can't be any worse than Matt Ryan. AJ is a douche through & through but I'd take him over Matty Ice in a heartbeat.

You're crazy. He's not a starting QB in the NFL, may be a solid career backup though.

He is definitely capable of starting and being highly successful in the NFL. He has all the tools and is a natural leader too. Your Bama hatred is deluding your judgement.

No, breh. I'm as big an A.J. fan as there is but I'll be surprised if he's anything more than a journeyman in the league.

For a young QB he's playing well, but he's on a very good team, so that brings him up.

If he were on a bad team, his struggles would be more obvious.

I think he has potential, but I also see a lot of mistakes. Like any young QB, he's learning.

I think the biggest drawback with AJ is arm strength

He made millions at Bama. The No Fun League won't pay too much to a lifelong backup. Unless they are stupid.

True. The only one to break that stereotype was one Timothy Tebow at Denver against Pissburgh. My favorite moment from Teeb's NFL career.

Tebow is a winner and I think someone needs to take a shot and reposition him as a tight end or something. jmo
