You can’t evaluate any QB who is playing behind a non functional OL and trying to function in a bad scheme, especially as a TF.
We don’t know if he can play or not because no one would be tearing it up this season for that A&M offense.

Aggies, I thought Connor Weigman was supposed to be some kind of can't miss, superstar? by CRW
As an LSU fan I get embarrassed at the ignorance of
some of our fans. Weigman IS A FRESHMAN HE WILL IMPROVE.
You guys get caught up in other fans hopes for their team.
If Im a A@M supporter I try to build up my QB.CW will
develope and become a very good QB.
Good take.
It is also good to see someone who is knowledgeable about football and wants to discuss it.

He has the arm talent and size.
But one more concussion may do him in.

Not if he is being coached by that loser D Craig.

He's pretty talented, but that offense is a freaking mess.

As I recall, Kellen Mond and A&M have Joe his last collegiate football loss in a 7 OT beat down at Kyle Field. Even the great Joe B wasn’t that great until his final year

Despite this being a low level troll, I'll give an actual response. As I have heard the announcers say in more than one of our games "even Tom Brady wouldnt look good behind that line". Aka you are watching a true freshman behind a bad line, there is nothing you can take from any of his three performances and extrapolate to how he will look once his college career is over. It is simply too early.

It is sidewalk tiger. The guy is 6 standard deviations to the left on the moron scale. He is not quite LSU Stephen level but in the same ballpark.

I heard the same thing about the freshman at LSU. For that matter I heard the same thing about Nussmeier at LSU. What the hell happended to him?
They are both backing up a Heisman Trophy candidate.

He's a freshman with 3 only starts under his belt who doesn't have a time for a two step drop.
The fact that he has above 50% completion percentage, 6 TDs, and no INTs under those circumstances is a got dang miracle.
Weigman is not the problem.

This is a classic case of SidewalkFacts making up his own bullshite again.
No one said he was can't miss and the kid is behind a horrible OL with playcalling that EVERYONE has said is archaic and terrible.

The guy that LSU fans trashed all year till they upset Alabama? The same guy throwing for 216 yards and a little over 1 touchdown per game?
Good luck with that.

They may have not used that exact term but many Aggies here have been talking about this kid for more than a year.
He's been mentioned as a future Heisman contender and national championship winner for A&M.

The vast majority of the A&M fanbase said Jimbo was a top 3 coach in the nation prior to this season. Your athletic department gave him a massive extension and raise just last summer.
You all blamed last season on Zach Calzada.
No need for revisionist history.

No need to lie in an attempt to carry water for the Aggies, Granny.
You've tried it twice in this thread and there's simply no reason for it.

He probably is…under literally any other coach but Jumbo.
