Also will be enjoying a lot of state parks for camping as well.

What’s your favorite Sate Park? For me it’s Cheaha as a state park but I really love the whole Little River Canyon area near Desoto also.

My personal favorite is Oak Mountain just because I grew up with it in my back yard. I really like the northern part of Alabama, including Little River and Desoto. Monte Sano is always good if you’re near Huntsville but don’t forget about Bucks Pocket!

softball when it starts. College baseball is aight but way too slow.

I would sooner sit through Mamma Mia 8 times than listen to a softball game. All the constant yacking from those bitches is too much.

I can't speak for anyone else but I myself spend a lot of time on Guntersville Lake and getting blown by your mother.

Auburn fans go back to work and to productive lives. Alabama fans go into hibernation, during which time they pack on 50-100 pounds and start hoarding the next crop of memorabilia for Saban to sign at The Running of the Gumps.

Exactly.

Sports are very time consuming and take me away from the things that matter more (faith, family, and friends).

When sports are over, I get back to more important matters. I go places in Alabama (many mentioned in this thread) and spend time with those that I love.

Well seeing as I'm not a fricking teenage girl that needs to party every night to prove to myself that I'm not getting older I think I'll just live my life and enjoy being with my family.

You sound sports obsessed. Sort of like those guys who get anime obsessed.

Which QB is your body pillow? Come on, we won't laugh.

Ah yes, that wonderful time of year when fans of shitty teams that have no chance in hell of winning a championship tell Alabama fans their state sucks and they have no life outside of college football.

This reveals more about your narrow intellect than that of Alabamians.
Old adage: keep silent and people will only suspect you are stupid...if you speak, you remove all doubt.

10/8/18 It must be brutal living in Bama. I've never been to visit so can someone shed light on either the college life there or lifestyle?

One definition of stupidity is to make definitive statements
about a place you've never seen or experienced. I've been to San Francisco numerous times and since you appear to be operating from a glass house reeking of smirky egotism, let's lob back a few stones based on reality. While parts
of San Francisco remain charming, other places are just
turning into out-n-out 3rd world shitholes, reeking of feces
and urine, with appearances of a human garbage dump, strewn with needles and trash. Complaint calls reporting human and animal feces on the street, have spiked into the hundreds daily. Severe lack of housing and shelter in San Francisco, a sanctuary city, is glaring. Since the public shite season never ends in San Francisco, do you people there just grin
and bear it and keep flipping coins to the pan handlers ?

San fran is like New York with legal weed there is a lot to do. You should see it sometime before you talk shite. Doubt you could afford to even visit though.

Go to law school.
Watch other sports.
Enjoy some of the beauty that the state of Alabama offers by frequently visiting Lewis Smith Lake (one of the cleanest lakes in the United States).
In the summer, visit Alabama’s beautiful beaches.

Alabama has more natural beauty than a lot of other states. We have mountains, lakes, beaches, fields, and valleys. Most states aren’t that diverse.

I have lived in many states, but you could not pay me enough to live in California (and even if you did, the state would take most of it in taxes)

My brother lives in Los Angeles, has for 25 years, but he is moving back to Alabama this spring. Says he is tired of all the bull "S**T" that happens in California.

Every state has its own beauty, and I like Alabama because it is a quiet, peaceful beauty. I grew up in Huntsville, and have the mountains and lakes to explore, without a lot of people crowding around.

I know I post from Florida, but I spend as much time in Alabama as I do Florida
