I hear they are working on a bill that will allow them to cheer for pro sports teams just like other people can

They're even considering allowing hunting and fishing and college basketball (in Auburn, at least)

It's a real Renaissance happening

Weird melt, but it’s okay that you need to tell yourself and us that you’re superior. It’s one of the easiest ways for you to deal with your crippling depression

Beaches, beautiful women, and for me personally: moss rock preserve, horse pens 40, palisades park, Steele climbing park, and hospital boulders...all for climbing of course. Also will be enjoying a lot of state parks for camping as well.

I lived in lower Alabama for 2 years in the Fort Rucker / Wiregrass area during the Cadillac Williams / Campbell era. Alabama is OK, Birmingham/Huntsville (nothing special) were much better than Montgomery (really boring). Gulf Shores/Mobile were decent. Met a lot of cool people in Alabama.

But truthfully, unless you're engaged in outdoor activities, I usually went to Atlanta or Florida.

Honestly, aside from Bourbon Street, the city of New Orleans is a shithole and the vast majority of the state of Louisiana is trash.

I know you mean New Orleans but it wouldn't even rate on the top stinkiest places in the state. Livingston parish, the whole thing, smells like a landfill. So does most everything north of BR. The entire corridor from BR down past NOLA on the river smells like diesel exhaust and benzene on a good day. Not that bama can brag, they can lay claim to historic places when it comes to pollution and contamination. Nice work Monsanto.

You’re in San Francisco...we know what you do.

This guy is in San Francisco? Where the streets are covered in shite rivers? Where professional sports are so bad they relocated the NFL team to the middle of nowhere?

What is there to look forward to in SF unless you like other men?

Robert Trent Jones Golfing in Bama is legit.

Orange Beach/Gulf Shores is as nice as any beach in Florida.

Not sure what the point is to this post unless you’re more focused on big city entertainment.

There’s better things out there than pro sports and bars. Hunting, fishing, golf, hiking, etc.

Seriously Christ has never represented nationalism of race or hate.

These people only try to rope Christianity into their agendas to further them.

I thought Alabama was a net taker when it came to tax dollars.

75% of the states surrounding us take more (including the state that takes the most in the nation). Florida is the only one that takes a little less and most of that comes from the beaches. Not sports.

I smile every time someone thinks Alabama is a shite hole because we don't have Pro teams, Bourbon Street, Atlanta, etc.

It means I won't run into an arse-clowns such as yourself when I leave my house.

Robert Trent golf trail

Best beaches in America

Great state parks in north Alabama. Great fishing.

What a lot of other folks in the south do, cookout, hangout.

If you're looking for Broadway type shite, we don't do that. It's as good as anywhere else in the south.
There is plenty to do. We just happen to like football too but I have lived in 5 different states. I'll take Bama every day of the week. Every...frickin....day.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

And pretty much the whole Florida panhandle as well as anywhere we feel like driving to for the weekend.

I’m guessing OP doesn’t have a vehicle reliable enough to get him much further than the Walmart in the next town over.

Bourbon Street is the absolute worst part of New Orleans and the fact that you think it’s cool (or the best part of New Orleans) makes you look like a trashy idiot.

Do professional sports cutoff at state lines? I can get to Atlanta faster than I can get to Birmingham.
