What will be your excuse if you lose this fall at Tiger stadium?
According to you we have less than no chance in that game, so if Heaven Forbid we win then what?

Asking for a friend…

I really thought the LSU fan base as a whole would make a psychological sift and feel the same way you do now that Coach Saban is gone. But alas, the OP shoots that notion to the curb.

I think you’re under the impression that I’m using reverse psychology or trolling. I’m not. I really do want to care about the Bama game and I refuse to let them become “just another game” without a fight, simply because they hired a guy who’s in over his head and are having leadership, QB and personnel issues.

I would almost rather rip the bandaid off and see DeBoer lose 5 or 6 this season and get fired sooner than later so you can get an experienced coach who knows the SEC.

Bama fans have issues. Always thinking you’re under attack.

So basically you're asking how to feel the same way we feel about LSU?

We will remind you this season. We owned you before Saban and will after.

have never seen a fan base become so ridiculously overconfident about a situation as LSU fans regarding Saban’s departure.

Hmmm. Maybe there is real reason for this. You’re making some progress. The other gumps have a long way to go.

I guess we have to wait until they lose to Wisconsin to see the anger phase.
Please shed some light on this notion that LSU fans keep regurgitating that Bama loses to Wisconsin. Is this the same Wisconsin that lost 6 games last year, a couple to the likes of Indiana & North Western, and that LSU struggled to beat in the Relinquish Bowl?

Someone who gets it. After next season, LSU will be relegated to being Alabama’s homecoming game.

They keep bringing up the last 15 years and the Bear Bryant years
Maybe because they make up 40 years of the last 65!
Oh yeah, during those 25 years without Bryant, or Saban, Alabama was 171-105....62% winning percentage! That included 4 SEC championships and a National Championship!

Advice on how to stay passionate about disdain for Bama?
quote:

Alabama went undefeated in Baton Rouge for a 30 year stretch before Saban.

We fricking own your arse.

That's isn't changing under Deboer or anyone else.

It should be easy for LSU fans to hold on to their hatred for Alabama football. Your assholes aren't healing anytime soon.

Since you Things LOVE to bring up the past:
From 1982 - 2011 LSU won 11 times in ala.

How do YOUUUUUUUUU effing know what will change and not change. Just because youuuuu think it ????

That's why everyone outside of Tuscacrappa 'holds on to their hatred' for you Things. It has nothing to do with records or wins-losses, but the unbelievable arrogance you Things spew.

The final straws for me were when we visited Tuscacrappa in '05, '07, and '11 and were greeted each time with unprovoked and unsolicited Katrina 'jokes'. This was people's LIVES and homes and businesses you were laughing at. Plus, grown men in cages on all-fours with hot dogs in their mouths welcoming us to campus. You things 'think' you impress, when in reality all you do is DISGUST....

They are so intent on believing they’ll replicate whatever happened in the past. I’m sure Nebraska thought they’d stay on top forever, too. They also conveniently leave out that LSU’s done well in Tuscaloosa from the 80s til 1/9/12 when you consider that outside of the Les Miles years we were dog shite for most of them, save for a few with Saban.

Florida dominated us in the 90s too. That wasn’t fun, but it’s fun now. Florida fans actually have the ability to look at the upcoming season and not consider the past the same as the future. Bama fans do not have this ability. Maybe the school choice thing will make kids smarter.

What is going on in Baton Rouge? We just got our property tax bill for Tiger Stadium and it has really gone up. I don’t mind paying my share like I have all my life, but I do hope that money is going to a good cause, like expanding mental health services in Louisiana. That seems to be a big need.

In the words of Achilles (Brad Pitt) to Agamemnon in 'Troy'...

"Careful King of kings...first you need the victory."

From this humble UGA fan, this kind of talk about Bama's demise is very premature. JMHO.

As far as Alabama and LSU playing in the state of Louisiana, an LSU fan is just as likely to see LSU get shut out as they are to see a win.

And that's not only true historically.
