I'd say Arkansas has a claim to this #3 spot.
McFadden, Madre Hill, Felix Jones, Fred Talley, Peyton Hillis, Cedric Cobbs, Knile Davis (for a year at least)

Nope, UGA has it easily. Take the OP's list and add Lars Tate, Tim Worley, Rodney Hampton, Knowshon Moreno, Robert Edwards, and Garrison Hearst. If Chubb keeps on keeping on you can add him in later.

At least add a category that Ole Miss can join the discussion.
Dumbest Coaching Hires
1. Ed Orgeron
2. Houston Nutt

Georgia, Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, Arky, LSU, have all had a lot of great RBs.

That is true if all you look at is receiving TDs. In fact, UF dominates in that stat (5 0f the top 15). But in career receptions and career receiving yardage, UF only has one player ranking in the top 15 for receptions and none for yardage.
Yup... If you just go by top stats, Heisman Trophies & Nattys at each position the way these seem to be ranked it's better to have 3 of the top 10 than 9 outta 11-20... But you gotta have some kinda criteria for your list when you compile it and pretty much any way you try to quantify it, it leaves something to be desired...
Kudos for your time & research Dawgsontop34...

They have, but UGA trumps them all IMO.

This is very obvious

And you'd say wrong. Not that your backs weren't good. However, the OP failed to mention Dalton Hilliard who along with Alexander and Faulk are all in the top 7 rushers in SEC history to form a formidable Mt. Rushmore of LSU backs with the legendary Billy Cannon. No other school has more than 1 guy in the top 7. Throw in a few dozen other LSU backs who made it to the NFL and I don't see another school who's better. I'd say the top 4 are all on firm footing at any rate.

A lot of that has to do with that fact that we had a number of greats playing at the same time. When you have guys like Anthony, Hilliard and Green all playing together they aren't going to rack up receptions and yardage like a single receiver will somewhere else.

Auburn should be in there on defensive line, IMO.

Auburn has had some pretty great linebackers as well. Karlos Dansby, Gregg Carr, Takeo Spikes, Aundray Bruce, Dontarious Thomas, Travis Williams. Just to name a few

I would have to put Leonard Marshall on the DL for LSU. Marshall was as dominant as they come. While Spears was good, Marshall was on a whole other level.

I like our all time safeties...Atwater, Hamlin, Barrett, and in pros George Wilson
Also, Jason Peters at OL for us
And no ESPN RBU? McFadden, Jones, Hillis, Madre Hill, Cedric Cobbs, Knile Davis, Bambi, Barry Foster, etc...

Actual All Time by Position in the SEC (Top 3)
OffRoadSportsman's thread got me thinking about which schools had the most productive players at each position. I'm sure many of y'all know your own team's history much better than I do, but I want to know what y'alls thoughts are of the following based ONLY on college production.
Quarterback
1. Florida (Wuerfell, Tebow, Spurrier)
2. Auburn (Newton, Sullivan)
3. Alabama (Namath, McCarron, Barker, Stabler)
LSU (Y.A. Tittle, Bert Jones, Tommy Hodson, Jeff Wickersham, Rohan Davey, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Mauck, Matt Flynn, Zach Mettenberger
Running Back
1. UGA (Walker, Sinkwich, Trippi, Gurley)
2. Auburn (Jackson, Williams, Fullwood)
3. LSU (Cannon, Faulk, Alexander) plus: Steve Van Buren, Jimmy Taylor, Dalton Hilliard, Alley Broussard, Harvey Williams, Domanick Davis, Justin Vincent Abe Mickal
Wide Receiver
1. Alabama (Cooper, Jones, Newsome, Hall)
2. Vanderbilt (Matthews, Bennett, Mitchell, Stricker)
3. UGA (Green, Edwards, Gibson, Hunter)
LSU (Ken Kavannaugh, Carlos Carson, Wendell Davis, Josh Reed, Michael Clayton, Eric Martin, Dwayne Bowe, Early Doucet, Andy Hamilton, Brandon LaFell, Tony Moss, Eddie Kennison
Offensive Lineman
1. Alabama (Samuels, Jones, Smith, Hannah, Stepheson
2. Arkansas (Andrews, Bullsworth, Luigs, Phillips, Kolenda)
3. Florida (Pouncey, Dennis, Gagner, Odom, Brown)
LSU (Albergamo, Blackwell, Faneca, Lafauci,
Lance Smith, McClure, Peterman, Winston, Wilkerson, H.Johnson, F.Miller)
Defensive Lineman
1.Tennessee (White, Atkins, Henderson, Haynesworth)
2. LSU (Spears, McFarland, Wiley, Dorsey)
3. Alabama (Cook, Cody, Lyons, Copeland)
Linebacker
1. Alabama (Thomas, Jordan, Bennett, Lowe)
2. Florida (Spikes, Marshall, Litttle, Green)
3. Tennessee (Little, Spova, Wilson, Kiner)
LSU (Brooks, Capone, James, Anderson, Bevan)
Defensive Back
1. Georgia (Bailey, Hoage, Scott, Woerner)
2. LSU (Casanova, Peterson, Landry, Mathieu)
3. Alabama (Wilcox, Castille, Barron, Milliner)
Special Teams (K/P/KR)
1. Tennessee (Hall, Colquitt family, Gault)
2. LSU (Jasper, Wing, Mathieu or Green)
3. UGA (Butler, Butler, Boykin)
Eta: Claim - I only looked at the top 4-5 players per position to decide the place of each team. For example, Bama's top 8 running backs, or Florida's top 8 receivers are better than LSU's top 8 running backs, or Vandy's top 8 receivers. I wanted to only use the very best of the elite players though.

This was just based on college which is why Peters wasn't on the list. Didn't he play TE in college? And RB was an incredibly tough choice. Leaving off any team with McFadden was hard, but I thought the top 3-4 of the other schools I listed was slightly better. Definitely debatable though, like almost everything on the list is.

Don Hutson has to be included.
DJ Hall has no business being mentioned with the all-time great bama WRs. Stats be damned.
