We spend an insane amount per student especially in the F districts. More money would mean more waste unfortunately. Vicious cycle.

It's not spent properly, which I know is your point.

It's ridiculously frustrating.

I've got kids in this system now and it just makes me hate our government even more than I already did.

75% of college education is a scam. We should de-couple our legitimate college football product from that garbage.

Unlike some of the schools on this list who have extreme admissions standards, LSU proudly welcomes students of underprivileged backgrounds who may not have had the advantages of other students. Our racially and financially diverse student body is a source of pride, not shame.

And I'm sure they do this out of the goodness of their hearts and not because of any sort of state mandate or anything.

These academic rankings have little to do with the quality of instruction At a school. They are of little use when evaluating which school is the right choice for a particular student.

These rankings are dumb because virtually all state schools are the same unless you are there for a specific program they are known for.

Auburn ranking will increase in the near future. The best program at AU will be the Pro Aviation program that produces Airline pilots. It will be the highest paid graduates after 10 years due to the big shortage of commercial pilots. Most of the graduates will be making $300K+ as commercial airline captains. The demand now has it causing AU to require selection into the program.

Not a minor. Leave the program as a CFI, CFII and MEI. They build up time and Delta has a A320 simulator. Five AU football players are in the program.

Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, LSU.

Served me pretty well so far. Had a couple Ivy League grads start working for me this summer. Excited for them to learn me somethin.
