I found this on the net
Nickel Back
Definition: A nickel back is an additional defensive back, usually a cornerback or safety, who replaces a linebacker in a nickel defense.

Formation: In a typical 4-3 defense, you have four defensive linemen, three linebackers, and four defensive backs. When a nickel back is added, it becomes a 4-2-5 formation (four linemen, two linebackers, five defensive backs)1.

Role: The nickel back primarily focuses on pass coverage, especially against offenses with three or more wide receivers. They may also be involved in blitz packages and run support2.

Usage: Nickel backs are often used in obvious passing situations, such as 3rd-and-long.

Star Position (or "Star" or "Will" Linebacker)
Definition: The star position, also known as the "Will" linebacker, is a hybrid linebacker-defensive back role.

Formation: In a 4-3 defense, the star position replaces one of the traditional linebackers, creating a 3-3-5 formation (three linemen, three linebackers, five defensive backs).

Role: The star player is versatile and can cover tight ends, running backs, and slot receivers, as well as rush the passer and support the run defense.

Usage: The star position is used to provide additional speed and coverage ability against spread offenses and passing attacks.

In summary, while both positions involve additional defensive backs and are designed to counter passing offenses, the nickel back is more focused on pass coverage, whereas the star position is a versatile hybrid that can handle both pass coverage and run defense.

Does that help clarify things?

Apparently he "turned 17" last March 1 and will "turn 18" next march.

You realize 2019 likely loses to Texas without the tune up game against North Texas to open the season, right?

You realize 2019 likely loses to Texas without continuing to throw the football even when ahead in the fourth quarter.

These people are paying me a ton to do this!
In one of the worst defensive performances in quite some time, Texas A&M’s 48-33 loss to Miami on Saturday afternoon provided more questions than answers, mostly pointing toward Aggies defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin, who failed to adjust his defense in the second half after an early dismal showing.

Already remembering the "good old days."

Mike Campbell will be made head coach. The Florida band will be replaced by surviving members of the Heartbreakers.
I think it will be someone who already is familiar with Kelly's offense, like Denbrock was. He originally wanted Rees at LSU. Rees decided to stay at ND, and is now at Alabama. If he can't get one of his former OC's I'd bet on Sloan.
“Take the tin-foil hats off. Nothing insidious,” Sonnone posted on X/Twitter. “The Orange Bowl has a VIP event each year, and part of it is a press conference. The scheduled time, during a hectic time of year on the trail, wasn’t conducive to either school’s head coach…and my understanding is the OB just passed on the PC portion of the event. Both programs are going to have representatives at the event in place of the coaches.” LINK
Fished for years(bait casting not fly) and was not familiar with that term. Tried to look up rip n lip with no success. Had to quit fishing when I was 75. Hope you catch some good ones.

Probably but he wasn't impressed by their performance. Many coaches like to run some off and replace them with their players.
