I bet Brooks Jr. wished the LSU coaching staff and medical personnel had given him that advice instead of forcing him to stagger around the field throwing up constantly and wobbling around like a wounded duck, for over a month, as they lied to him about "vertigo".

On August 14, 2023 Greg himself says he was doing much better from the vertigo and ready to go.
He had brain surgery 1 month later

They need to sue Pfizer, Moderna or whoever the covid vaccine manufacturer was that he was forced to take as well.

It won’t matter how many days it was. If this goes to trial and the jury/judge believes the statement below heads will roll. In today’s climate of caution surrounding brain injuries and concussion protocols, the fact that LSU’s medical staff cleared him to practice when they clearly had misdiagnosed/undiagnosed his condition will be damning. It won’t matter how many days it happened, it will matter only that it did happen.

Brooks Jr. states in the lawsuit that he "passed out" during practice, and "then began to vomit minutes later in front of his coaches and athletic trainers." The lawsuit claims that Brooks Jr. was told by an LSU athletic trainer that he had vertigo and was "cleared to return to practice."
On another note, can anyone recall the last time a former SEC player and his father went on Good Morning America and claimed the university destroyed his life? I can’t recall another.

And if they caught it at day 20,30, or 39.....the same procedure had to be done with the same potential for complications.

From onset of symptoms to surgery was 39 days
That’s extremely fast. Anyone arguing the opposite is foolish on how medicine works

He was told it was “vertigo”. Should had seen a specialist with his symptoms.

Had an emergency surgery. Y’all are acting Brooks got special treatment and priority…it was because of his “actual” medical condition.

Yeah, because everyone that experiences vertigo goes and sees a specialist. Clown talk.
And for the slow folks, I will repeat. If they caught it at day 20,30, or 39.....the same procedure had to be done with the same potential for complications.

Debatable.
I will say when an athlete persists on vomiting and passing out in practice for some time should had been pulled out of activity and referred to specialist and diagnostic procedures.
Sounds like LSU staff mis-diagnosed Brooks and rushed him to activity and not ruling out other conditions.
It’s concerning, when he was diagnosed after seeing a Specialist, he had emergency surgery.
Also, it is alarming that the Brooks family stated it was athletic trainers stated he had vertigo.

Again, it doesn’t matter how many days it was.
The fact that they cleared him to return to practice because of a diagnosis of vertigo, when it was in fact a brain tumor, is the issue.
If a player exhibits any sign of concussion in today’s game, they are supposed to sit the player until all symptoms are resolved and all other potential diagnosis are ruled out.
Yet if we believe Brooks, and there will be plenty of witnesses to confirm or deny it, he passed out on the football field and yet was later cleared to practice because of a misdiagnosis by the LSU medical staff. In today’s world a school simply can not send a player back out on the field who is having multiple obvious neurological symptoms like dizziness, blacking out, and vomiting without a full battery of tests to ensure the player doesn’t have a life threatening condition like a brain tumor. Yet that is exactly what LSU did, they trotted him back out on the practice field when they didn’t know what was wrong with him. They cleared him because they had not run all the tests they could have and should have run. Some of you act like a CT scan or an MRI are some uncommon diagnostic tools. They aren’t. Some stadiums have MRI machines. They should have figured out what was wrong with him before they cleared him to practice. You don’t need to be a neurologist to know that, you just need a brain.
