Then why didn't you include that in your 2012 stat for UGA?

Congrats on beating up the weaker competition. He couldn't do that in the SEC.

This is from ESPN

Wake Forest 88 30
Duke 105 36
Maryland 21 18
NC State 68 52
South Carolina 11 12
LSU 8 18
Avg. Rank 58.92 278

Manziel Opp. Rank Pts.
Florida 5 6
SMU 62 36

Lol, you only focus on stripping the ball after you've wrapped up the ballcarrier and stopped forward progress. That's Defense 101. So either you're full of shite or your coaches are idiots.

Coach Dabo Swinney Quote from Oct of this past season:

Clemson linebacker Jonathan Willard tackles Boston College Eagles running back Andre Williams in the second quarter.

....

"All of that, I guess, is a roundabout way of answering your question on maybe why tackling is not as good," he said. "Very few schools practice live during the week, (but) now, we've changed that. We have a very young defense, and in fact, we started last week, just Tuesday and Wednesdays, we are going live.

"I've never done that. We've always pretty much been a thud team - full speed, form them up, but we try to stay on our feet. And most people, that's what they do. But we're so young in so many areas, we've just kind of bit the bullet."

He said the results so far have been promising, but not without risk.

“If I had been a little smarter, we would have done it earlier,” Swinney said. “But better late than never. And we’ve been lucky...."

Also, tell me more about how Boyd is better than Manziel.

O I don't think he's better at all (although it wouldn't surprise me if he had a better year this season, mainly because of the off-the-field nonsense with JFF though). These dudes were all about fappin to facts so I figured I'd provide some. From an emperical standpoint, the comparison is valid.

Sorry, those stats are overrated.

And why are you comparing him to JFF? I'd like to see the stats for Murray.

Because I copied and pasted that 2012 stat from a UGA fan and just added the wins and losses.

The correct answer is they both equally suck against the Gamecocks. A more interesting question would be which QB has more scars left on them from Jadeveon Clowney (both emotional and physical count).

The Clemson/Georgia lack of response to this post makes me feel good. Commence arguing amongst yourselves.

No clue what this response is in regards to. I was responding to someone saying UGA gave up more yards because they were only wrapping the ballcarrier up and then going for the strip. I said you always stop forward momentum before you look for the strip.

You posted a link regarding Dabo going to live practices because our young defense didn't tackle well in games. I don't see the connection?

That was my ommission.

Either my eyes deceived me.

Or the fact that we spanked them (Vandy) 48-3 reaffirms my belief that they are significantly over-rated.

Congrats. Didn't realize this thread was about Gamecock history. If anything that shows how far we've come considering your QB is an impressive 0-3 vs us.

If we did that... we would have absolutely lost to Florida last season.
