Nope. Only time that I can recall them bringing him in was last play of the first half against bama. Threw it about two yards deep into the endzone, was batted around a couple times before hitting the ground.

Is this evidence of athleticism?

He’s got the raw talent, probably the strongest arm in the NCAA but he’s got to develop touch and get the ball out quicker. I feel good about him but we will miss Hooker.

We had the “most athletic QB” last season. It ended going 6-6.

To be fair, you did hire a Sunbelt coach..

I’d be willing to bet money there’s not a human alive on this planet that can throw the ball farther than Milton. Unfortunately that doesn’t make you a great QB.

He definitely has the body and talent though. Milton would be Cam Newton 2.0 if he just had that physical running mentality. But we won’t run him that much and he’s not the powerful runner he’s capable of being.

true, but completing passes has nothing to do wiht the question posted in OP either.

"most talented" or "most athletic" or "most gifted" or whatever are all baswed on measurables and physical prowess and have nothing to do with actually completing passes and throwing touchdowns.

Didn't one quarterback get drafted in the first round that was the talk of his freak athleticism? His name was Richardson. How did he do last season for Florida?

It's like saying "he has the strongest arm"

You could throw it from one endzone to the parking lot but what good would that do it you don't have any touch or accuracy?

Most athletic QB is one of the more overrated qualities looked for in a college quarterback. Cam Newton and Vince Young are pretty much the only 2 “most athletic QBs” to hold up a championship at the end of the year in the last 3 decades.

Tee Martin did it at Tennessee.

His biggest problem is that when he does this his receivers are usually standing 10 yards away from him.

if this is the truth then idk what is...
didnt tennessee bring him in one time specifically to throw a hail mary and dude ended up putting it like 30 rows deep into the stands behind the endzone? lmao

Lucky for Milton that he completes passes at a pretty decent clip then isn’t it? Milton is going to thrive in Huepel’s offense this year.

So a 5th year QB who wasn't the starter is the best QB in America? Has Aaron Murray been checked for an intellectual disability?

One of the best QB's to wear red and black and the dawg fans throw Murray and Fromm under the bus without any appreciation of their accomplishments. You guys are truly special and you show it on this board daily.

Couldn't agree more. Seeing a few Dawg fans rip Aaron Murray is ridiculous. How soon we forget.
