The amount he had on him, and the way the case is progressing, makes it very unlikely that the kid is a dealer. Nobody has charged him with intent to distribute, nor is there any reason to think anyone has claimed he intended to deal.

It's tough to tell. If it was 4 grams, that's not necessarily drug dealer territory. That could just be enough for a weekend party type thing. But, when you start getting up to triple digits, then you're going way past just partying.
