Did he take a job at Alabama?
Oh... he thinks A&M has "the best"

Give it a few years. He has an entire football team of kids that just haven't hit college age yet.

A&M didn’t break any recruiting rules.
Yes they fricking did! In the NIL era with schools openly buying kids legally, y'all signed the #1 all-time class and did almost no NIL deals of merit, for kids valued (On3) at millions of dollars. So, OBVIOUSLY y'all dropped BIG frickING BAGS for those kids.
And that is breaking recruiting rules (and state law).

Doesn't the coach who said this have 14 kids with 8 different baby mamas?
Coaching is a stressful job. Guy needs to find a way to unwind.

I understand why it’s fun to joke about it, but society should shame this more than we do

You might have a point if all that happened while coaching

2021 Opp Yards per Attempt:
Texas A&M rank #4 (5.8)
Alabama rank #32 (6.9)
Opp Passer Rating:
Texas A&M rank #10 (112.0)
Alabama rank #63 (132.55)
Opp Yards per Game:
Texas A&M rank #17 (192.7)
Alabama rank rank #50 (218.1)
Texas A&M DB room beat Alabama DB room in every defensive passing stat across the board.

He pays child support for all his kids and is an active father in their lives from what i have heard.
Why should our society shame this but support killing babies?

He’s talking about recruits, not current players. These 2023 kids want $$$ up front and guaranteed playing time immediately without earning anything.

I agree it’s unprofessional, but the message is spot on. He should have a sit down convo with his boss but shouldn’t be fired. He’s a db coach not the president of the university.

Dude is dumb but he’s not wrong about entitlement with these kids.
This is just getting started imo. How long until players are earning more than the coaches? How does a coach manage that? NFL lite with younger players.

However, from a recruiting standpoint probably not wise.
I think money wins in recruiting so I doubt it hurts. But from a coaching perspective this shite must be a nightmare.

Especially a 41K/yr Graduate Assistant. Imagine the monthly burn rate on his wealth for child support alone.

A&M's numbers are not so impressive when you account for playing ranked opponents. 91st in pass defense against ranked opponents. OOF.
Congrats on playing the 126th and 127th ranked passing offenses though I guess?
Prairie View was in the top 50 passing offenses in FCS, so you guys hang your hat on shutting them down though

Im sorry but there is no way that 1 man can adequately be a father to 14 children when most are in different households and cities. Especially when that person is an NFL Player/College Coach and the time commitment that goes along with that
