It is. I hope my fellow Bama enjoy this ride, don’t take it for granted, and understand that this is very rare.

Alabama 71-80 (107-13), 3 NC

61-66 (60- 5), 3 NC

so at Alabama it not so rare

Being 3rd in the best conference over that period of time shows that LSU is neither.

LSU wasn’t third best in the conference over those seasons; we were second best. Georgia would gladly trade three of those wins for a National Championship.

UGA has a little better overall record relative to LSU, but that's only because they reside in the SEC East, while LSU resides in the SEC West and therefore, plays a harder schedule overall relative to UGA.

Not really. As UGA resides in the SEC East, as opposed to the SEC West, so therefore, UGA plays an easier schedule overall relative to SEC West teams and in which is shown by their record against SEC West teams.

I understand you are comparing it to our long history of mediocrity, but it should be noted that we actually won 4 more games overall from 2009-2014. Personally, it doesn’t feel like we overachieving.
