A Mississippi State fan told me that they have the all-time best SEC baseball program

When I heard that I almost pissed my pants from laughing so hard. There are objectively three programs that are better than Mississippi State.
1. LSU obviously has the best SEC baseball program of all time. 6 national championships, once the runner up, 18 CWS appearances, and 30 NCAA tournament appearances
2. South Carolina-2 national championships, runners up 4 times, 11 CWS appearances, 17 NCAA regional championships
3. Florida-1 National Championship, twice the runner up, 11 CWS appearances, 12 NCAA regional Championships
Compare that with Mississippi State:
0 National Championships, once the runner up, 9 CWS appearances, 13 NCAA regional championships.
Hell, eve UGA has won a national championship in baseball, along with finishing runner up once and 6 CWS appearances.

Back in the Will Clark days State was the premiere SEC baseball team but ever since around 1996 LSU has surpassed State as the king of the SEC in baseball.

Your fanbase has a certain arrogance when it comes to baseball that is uncalled for. Your program is closer to UGA than it is to LSU.

State has an excellent baseball program and heritage. I respect their program and fans. Starkville is the only place in the SEC where folks take their baseball as seriously as we do in BR.
