In OU's heyday they won with mostly in state players... and a few north and west Texans... Even OU's last national championship team... the starters were mostly in state guys.
So you are basically saying that OU had to cheat to get in state players to come to the in state school. A school that was winning national champions in football.

They cheated any way they could going way back. They built a name brand later, cheating beyond what we’ll ever comprehend. That’s a fact that cannot be denied. Now that being said, all of the “blue bloods” that built their programs cheating were doing the same thing

Did Sonic start in OK?
If so, just throw knocks up there with some Sooner Jugglaoes. Has some PPV potential.

Sonic and Braums. Also the shopping cart, parking meter, and toothbrush were invented in Oklahoma.

I'll add QuikTrip (QT) in Tulsa and Love's in OKC.

There was even a lot of talk of creating an "Indian" state that would have covered a good chunk of Eastern Oklahoma and some of NW Arkansas. Put that together today and you've got Tulsa and the Ozarkopolis combined.
It was going to be a black and Native American state - then they found oil. That ended those thoughts pretty quickly.

So did Mizzou cheat to get kids from Missouri to come to there?
And the bottom line is whether they did or they didn't. Why couldn't a collection of white Missouri boys beat a collection of white Oklahoma boys?
Do you figure the money that OU supposedly paid their Oklahoma HS players made them better than the unpaid Missouri players?

OU has a documented history that tops anything Mizzou has done ten-fold. Let’s focus on the 80’s to the present when OU really built the brand. That time period was notorious for regular cheating & NCAA violations. Comparing Mizzou to OU in the cheating game is laughable.

Ten-fold? Try again. All sports:
OU = 5 major infractions since 1980
Mizzou = 4 major infractions since 1980
Maybe your bitterness stems from y'all historically sucking despite having the talent-rich St. Louis and Kansas City metros in your backyard. By the way - how is that even possible?

OU "built the brand in the '40s and '50s"... Three national championships.
In the '70s they won two with a majority of the starters being Oklahoma players (less than the '50s though)... The probation they got in the '70s was based on playing an ineligible player who was not academically eligible (because his HS coach altered his transcript). That kid never started although he did play some as a freshman before the story broke.
Point being that OU did not get in trouble for paying players (you'd think the NCAA would have caught them)
OU won with mostly home state kids who went there because OU won.
I will grant you that the '80s were murkier... but OU still got players to come there because they were really good. Simple as that.
But if you want to start in the '80s and claim that OU cheated and that all the other blue bloods cheated... well okay...but the idea that blue blood schools had to cheat to keep players from going to 1980s Missouri... That is just silly.

Y'all are like the skinny kid who hides behind the big swinging dick during a fight and then act like you did something
I’m not gonna pretend like aggy isn’t gay but seriously, you throwing this one out there is pretty hilarious. Like the whole damn conference hadn’t sat back and rode yje coat tails of nick saban before
