Forecasts have differed, but let's just say for the sake of argument that it does rain.

Which team benefits more and why?

Neither, since neither team can run it worth a damn this season.

Poncho sales always benefit the home team.

Do balls bounce the same off wet helmets as they bounce off dry helmets?

Zaxby's.
Their containers are more durable and moisture resistant.

Ole Miss fans will appreciate the slightly less odious and odorous Alabama fans

Light rain won't affect QBs at all. Wind is more important. But heavy rain obviously will and I think both these teams selling out to stop the run can stop eachother no problem with the elite D Line talent alone.

It favors Alabama greatly... Their fans will be the only ones left in the stands.

I'm going to say OM benefits. Bama players are already scared as frick of playing OM..hands all jittery and shite. Can never hold on to a dry ball. They definitely won't hold onto a wet one.
