Based on what? Last year was aTm’s best season since 2012 and they lost an absolute shite ton of starters, especially along the line of scrimmage.

1 - 2nd best coach in the SEC.
2 - Great recruiting, from the inside out. Plenty of depth.
3 - Money, they will spend to be great.
4 - Beat LSU 2 out of the last 3. Writing on the wall.
5 - 2nd best coach in the SEC. Yeah, it means that much.

This dude had top tier talent and crashed Florida State because he couldn't keep his players disciplined.

I also find it odd that he's supposedly a great quarterback evaluator and offensive coach yet that's been A&M's glaring weakness.

Where did I ever say that?

My point was simple and clear - you’re obsessed with LSU to pretend like your not begging for us to be your rival is cute.

and so has LSU since O got here, but it’s actually been at a higher level

LSU doesn’t have aTm money but we have spent a lot on football

Put an asterisks on that first win because it was bullshite. LSU then stomped them 50-7. And aTm’s best team since WWII only beat the worst LSU team since the 1990’s by 13 and only put up 13 offensive points on our worst defense ever.

I’m not saying aTm’s terrible

LSU fans long for Bama to be their rival.

Not very observant if you think this. I feel like every school in the conference tries to be our rival and are met with a resounding, “We’re good.”

Take those purple glasses off and stare into the bright light of reality. Jimbo isn't coming, he has arrived. Big difference. He's staying balanced and he just went 10 and 1 with an all-SEC schedule.

The answer isn't comparing TAMU to BAMA, that's the mistake. The answer is comparing TAMU/Jimbo with the likes of Orgeron, Harsin, Kiffin, Leech, Pittman. Hands down, Jimbo is much the better general, with top-tier talent and depth. TAMU is a problem, now.

I seem like a soothsayer.

LSUs sec forum called the secRant is flowing like a River of LSU replies.

Almost like I called in it this very thread

You'll see them flooding this board on a fine April Wednesday morning about how they are not thinkin' bout LSU

Continue to “not” melt.

I remember when Florida State was going to be the next dynasty.

And that was in a weaker conference and he recruited better there.

The fact of the matter is, Jimbo is vastly overrated as a coach, without Jameis, he's basically Les Miles in an easier conference.

The "2nd best head coach in the conference" should not be beating a historically terrible Vanderbilt team by 5 points.

With a A$M win it’s an asterisk.
With a Bama win it’s an asterisk.

This is LSU’s excuse.
Sad.

I’d put A&M in the SECW Jr. They haven’t accomplished anything that the others haven’t since the SEC expansion.

this is a case study in intellectual dishonesty. tell me where i'm wrong.....or don't

Me? I'm usually replying to posts like these, not starting my own - though I do occasionally enjoy raising the cackles of the most easily triggered group of fans in the SEC.

(Hint: It's the kids from Baton Rouge)

I can see which group of fans keep trying to claim a site as their own even when the guy who pays for it has said otherwise.

So don't play kid. You're gonna get burned

If you want to see how bad it can get when we are actually good again just search thread topics from 2013-2015. It felt good to be hated again.

It's not your answer. Look straight ahead, not behind. At least you can properly identify what's running over you. No one but Alabama is building football teams like TAMU in the west.

Oregon hasn't sustained success before or after 2019. Last season he looked a lot like that Ole Miss coach I use to watch. He's now struggling mightily to hire good assistant coaches. Not interviewing them doesn't help. But then, he has never struck me as a HC that demands excellence from himself and that has carried over quickly to the program.
