Nah, OU was never a problem.

USC won't get the OL and DL needed to win a natty.

This sounds like wishful thinking because when USC is rolling they hold their own in LA. USC has 29 billionaires who are alums. They can issue all the NIL deals they want.

They absolutely have the ability to become a power again if they get things lined up. Im not sure Riley is the guy to do it, but who wouldnt want to live the college life in LA over Tuscaloosa or Auburn? Especially if youre already a kid from California.

A much more tried and true method, but if USC does what they are attempting, they’ll be dangerous.

Lincoln Riley is absolutely going to kill it in LA recruiting wise, and he has shown the ability to coach up mostly 3* and 4* to CFB playoff caliber (not to win it, but get at least an invite to the dance).

Think of what he's will do with lots of 4* and 5*talent and a weak conference to play in.

He is regularly going to be 12-0 going into the PAC 12 championship game with a playoff birth on the line.

Riley made a wise decision on going to USC, they are a sleeping giant.

And to whomever said OL and DL was going to be a problem, there are plenty of both of those in Cali, way more than what he typically was able to get to come to OU.

I know OU recruited Texas well, but had allot of competition from A&M, UT, LSU, ect, whereas at USC, he is gonna have the pick of the litter, as they say.

One year of stellar recruiting doesn’t make for 4 years recruiting bench strength in the SEC

Riley was born on third and thought he hit a homerun. TBH the three Big 12 teams with good defense ISU, Baylor, Oki St handled Riley’s offense easily.

Cake Gundy called a better offense and slaughtered Oregon in the bowl game.

Caleb might go usc, but he might just take the Wisconsin money and the NFL coaching....

3 verbals.
3 5-Stars.

Avg player rating 99.33

Riley gonna be a problem at USC

I feel like I have to white knight a little for Riley. Seems like a lot of head in the sand regarding this. This is very impressive.

Couple that with LA NIL opportunities and transfer portal I think he could really build a monster.

But they don't have the biggest corporations in the world sitting right next door ready to capitalize.

AT&T isn’t jumping on the NIL train. NIL will end up being driven by companies with $5M-$50M in revenue with alumni as CEOs.

All those people that said the last few years that USC would never be a contender again were just stupid. They had a run of bad luck with coaches, but USC is arguably the 2nd best program ever in college football. At least in the top 5.

“X is going to be a problem” or “X is a problem” is the most cringe and overused term in sports today.

But Riley at USC is going to make for a consistent title contender.

He is? The entire PAC 12 pretty much depends on kids from California to fill their rosters and not only is the state losing population but participation rates have gone way down through the years. The state still produces talent but it's spread pretty thin and it will soon be replaced by Georgia in sheer numbers of D1 and top 200 prospects.

And get destroyed by SEC teams. The PAC-12 is awful.
