Tommy Moonshot? Watched the entire Moo State ULL game ... can tommy throw a ball more than twenty yards on a line or does he always have to throw it sixty yards in the air like a soft toss ?

Dude didn’t leave much to be desired last year...what’d you expect? No one thought the bum we saw last year would look that good in that style of offense.

Burrow and his WRs were super impressive...but the rest of the LSU squad? Not too hot.

And yet Herbstreit has them in his top 4 after last night. BTW Burrow set the all-time
passing record in Austin last night in DKR stadium.

He played pitch and catch all night long, easily. I haven't seen a defensive scheme that moronic since Venables was here. In fact, that's exactly who it reminded me of.

Blitzing over and over again with soft zone coverage on the back-end doesn't work. WRs just run to the hole in the zone and turn around which is what LSU's WRs did all night long. Easy throws. Credit to LSU, Burrow, and LSU's WRs for continuing to savage their idiotic scheme while they refused to adjust. Good stuff!

One question though: I was told "our defenz has 11 future NFL players on it 2 deep, and four 1st ROUNDERS BAWWWW!!!!"

Where was that SEC future all-NFL defense y'all were barking about? Your defense didn't look any better than theirs. They weren't gonna cross the 50???

I haven't seen a bunch of athletes flop all over the field with fake cramps like that since the last world cup soccer match I viewed. Y'all are comical. You gave up 530 yards and 38 points exactly like a BIG XII defense. Overall, nice run of the mill BIG XII football game last night, LSU. That's all it was.

I mean, I didn't see these numbers he is putting up coming, but he accounted for 23 TDs to 5 INTs last year while LSU finished at #6 in the nation. Those aren't bum numbers.

Burro and LSU threw for 130 more than La Tech fwiw. Pretty obvious texass secondary is dog shite. Burro made plays and good decisions. Still.... texass secondary is dog shite.

So the most yards at DKR all-time.

so after playing 2 shitty defenses, you're ready to forget all of last year?

Tua only threw for a little over 200 yards and accounted for only 3 TDs passing and 1 running. He must suck.

It’s all relative.

You guys need to to take it slow. You are going to be let down hard if you don’t. Then again, LSU fans ALWAYS do this. Year in. Year out.

Still hasn't done anything against a good defense.

These comments don't usually go together.

At least you admitted he has been impressive. I remember you and the others saying LSU fans were doing whatever they could to pump up Joe Burrow to be something much more than he is when a number of us were saying we just expected really good things out of him with WRs who were experienced now and more time in a system. As it stands, he may start off with back-to-back SEC Offensive Player of the Week awards after breaking the record for the most passing yards in Texas' stadium in a win on the road against a top-10 team.

Burrow is nails. I'd probably take him over Tua since he's bigger and could take more physicality.
