Apologize for what? It was a big 12 defense

Fantastic game. Dude is tough as nails

He is for real.
I am always a pessimistic frick when it comes to LSU offense.
Burrow is for real. The debate on the previous sentence is done after tonight.

It's funny when we hear for weeks how bad Texas is on defense, then we tout the stat line against it
That being said, he played solid

Dude didn’t leave much to be desired last year...what’d you expect? No one thought the bum we saw last year would look that good in that style of offense.
Burrow and his WRs were super impressive...but the rest of the LSU squad? Not too hot.

Glad someone might be able to actually challenge Bama this year in the West. LSU will be a fun team to watch.

I wasn't vocal about it but I admit to thinking he was just barely an average quarterback. That's what he was last year. He is elite as hell so far this year though. You guys look legit.

Burro and LSU threw for 130 more than La Tech fwiw. Pretty obvious texass secondary is dog shite. Burro made plays and good decisions. Still.... texass secondary is dog shite.

"Doing that in practice is hard, going without a defense"
Pat Screen former QB
I challenge you to find a former starting sec qb that will dispute that statement

Dude will be playing the NFL.

He's still an average QB. He's better, but he doesnt worry me one bit. Texas defense is terrible. LSU fans told us 1000x before the game that was the case.
He's been impressive ....I'll give him that

He has played better then I thought he would down there. And, to his credit, LSU did the one thing I warned them against doing... getting into a wild shootout with the Whorns and they still won.

That stat line would be good vs any P5 program.

His intent is to use lsu as a catapult into the NFL. He made that clear coming in last year. That’s why his most difficult class is underwater basket weaving, and why he’s so intense. He has a mission beyond LSU.
Expect this guy to overachieve.

Been a Joe fan since last year. I have to say, however, he has surpassed my expectations so far this year.

As someone posted on the MSB, Texas lost 8 starters from a unit that ranked 112 out of 130 last year in passing defense. I know it's great to see the forward pass being incorporated into your offense for the first time since 2013, but pump the breaks a little.
Burrow is a good QB, however, and I expect him to put up numbers this season with the style of offense LSU has finally saw fit to adopt. But let's slow down just a tad.

and if he had a bad night people like you would say, "he couldn't even put up big numbers against a Big 12 defense"
