Alabama at #2 is too high - should be #6 or #7

The team has some amazing raw talent, but just WAY too much experience is lost, especially on offense. The WR corps and OL especially will be talented but green.

Yep - the 3 deep talent will legitimately be as good across the board as any Alabama team of the Saban era, but we will be breaking in a lot of new pieces on offense with a new OC. It'll take a bit to get going.

Manny Diaz is still coaching, King just tore his ACL and they were overrated to begin with - name 1 quality win from this season.

Maybe. But I'll believe it when I see it.

Losing just everything on offense.

Losing most of defense.

New OC.

2021 Bama could look like 2020 LSU, unless Saban does the best coaching job in 20 years.

Opened your link and the first two words I saw were Joel Klatt.

When you see the words Joel and Klatt in the same sentence your need to hit the delete button before the BDF virus invades your computer.

Believe it or not, I actually think ESPN's is better ... except Clemson is #1 in this projection

ESPN Too Early Top 25

quote:

Projected returning starters: nine offense, five defense, two special teams

Loses and their replacements

Replacments in the front 7 may be an upgrade.
Azeez Ojulari - Nolan Smith
Malik Herring - Travon Walker
Monte Rice - Quay Walker
Jermaine Johnson - Adam Anderson

Loses in the secondary is huge but talent is on the roster. Lewis Cine and Chris Smith Return. Smith started the final 8 games after Richard Lecounte got hurn.
Tyson Campbell - Kelee Ringo
Eric Stokes - Ameer Speed
Richard Lecounte - Chris Smith
Tyrique Stevens - Latavious Brini/True Freshman David Daniel
Mark Webb - Major Burns
DJ Daniel - Jalen Kimber/True Freshman Nyland Green

Dawgs should start the season at 4. Beat Clemson then we move up.
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Georgia
5. Ohio State
6. Texas A&M
7. North Carolina
8. Cincinnati
9. Florida
10. Iowa St

2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State
5. Clemson
6. Iowa St (Louisiana beat that arse)
7. Indiana (Ole Miss beat that arse)
8. Miami (lol what?)
9. North Carolina (A&M beat that arse)
10. Notre Dame (always top 10 regardless of being any good)

Yike... this is a terrible list and Klatt should feel bad about it.

Notre Dame, Miami, ISU, and probably UNC will all choke.

I also think Clemson falls off a lot.

Although not a great showing in the CFP Clemson returns their entire starting lineup on defense. Running back is the big question. DJ should get Ross and 2 other WRs back that were injured most of the season.

People always call us overrated but we usually finish around we start. Wouldnt say we are overrated or underrated, but properly rated
