Under/Over win total: 7

Any Mizzou fans tell me what the team brings back and opinion on the upcoming season?

It's crazy dumb how their first six games are such a cakewalk(minus Kentucky I guess).

Whereas Arkansas plays Texas, A&M, and Georgia within the first 6 weeks. Having the #1 SOS is dumb every year.

Losses:

Larry Borom - OL now in NFL
Larry Rountree - RB now in NFL
Both corners - now in NFL
Nick Bolton - LB now in NFL

Additions:
2 CB Transfers from Tulsa - speculated to be drafted
WR Mookie Cooper - transfer from OSU
LB Blaze Aldridge - Transfer from Rice, 2-time all conference USA (we'll see what that means in the SEC)

Return the rest of the OL
Return most of the DL and getting some back from injury
Returning a senior RB
Returning QB

Ceiling 10-2 (unlikely) win all games supposed to, win all 50-50 games, take 1 from GA aTm or Fl

Floor 5-7 Lose all the games were supposed, all 50-50 games, and 1 were not supposed to.

Key games will be early against Kentucky and BC. Win both of those and likely a 6-0 start before aTm comes to Columbia.

I'm thinking 8-4

But honestly, Kentucky will be a 50/50 game. But either 9-3 or 8-4 im more than happy with those results in year 2 of Drinkwitz. Even if we only win 7, still ok with that.

The best way to do this is by percentages, not guessing W/L.

If a team has a 51% chance to win every game, that doesn’t mean they are going undefeated. They might be favored in every game though.

Win chance IMO:

CMU: 97%
Kentucky: 65%
SEMO: 99%
BC: 70%
Tennessee: 65%
NT: 97%
A&M: 35%
Vandy: 95%
Georgia: 20%
USCJr: 75%
Florida: 45%
Arkansas: 50%

0.003% chance of going undefeated

Prediction: 8.13-3.87 (8-4)

That's a good take Dawg. Depends on how the even games swing, and if we can steal one or two. This is really Drinkwitzs first year, still mostly Odoms players. Say 8 wins +/- 1. For myself, 2023 is when it could get really interesting.

9-3 should not be a shocker. We are Missouri so we will lose a game we should not. Probably Kentucky/South Carolina.

7-5.

Losses to UGA, Aggies, Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas. They will be underdogs in all of those games by Vegas standards

I think you're probably spot on. That being said, I think 9-3 to 10-2 is within reach if we have some key players turn it on.

I do know that the last game of the season is most certainly a W though.

I'll take the over. I think 8-4 is likely with a good shot at 9-3. The early game at UK and then their 3 big games vs A&M, Georgia, & Florida will decide their season.
