Alabama has better players at a lot of positions. Couple that with the fact that we like to piss down our legs against Bama and we'll be lucky not to get blown out. Bolden is overrated.

If your arms weren't slightly bigger than mine, I'd challenge you to a fist fight.

Yall must have missed the part where we couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down against Vandy.

UGA almost lost to a dogshit Kentucky team in 2024 and still almost beat Bama.

I think Kirby may have been looking ahead last week. A struggle win was probably exactly what they needed tbh.

We are the same team we were last year with slightly better OL coaching

Well that's a huge positive for UGA given the SECCG

Players like Russel are kirbys kryptonite. there is not a good answer for someone who is an elite passer, an elite runner, and knows when to do one or the other.

Kirby wasn't looking ahead.
But the DL may have been.
They came out flat in the first half and got their act together at halftime.
It was more effort than adjustments at the half.

Cool, 2026 Bama reminds me of 2020 Bama.

Weird, I feel like we've won a few playoff games. Maybe even a couple of titles in the last 5 years.

Yeah, but the titles were remnants from Kirby and Georgia stacking talent with under-the-table cash from the SEC bag game.

I like our chances with Gunner Stockton..

He is unassuming and comes across as being very mild mannered.

In reality, he is exceptionally intelligent and is a fierce competitor.

In contrast, I'm not all that impressed with the Alabama pass defense.
The Alabama pass defense is rated as being #106 in the country.
If Gunner can't exploit that, then we deserve to lose.

I believe they did, but nowhere near the level of buy-in and organization that Georgia was doing. And don't get me wrong, I wish they would've.

You think if Texas boosters were all-in on buying players under the table, we would've lost recruits to Georgia?

Kirby Smart is a clone of Nick Saban in almost every respect but the willingness to adapt on offense and let his offensive coordinator experiment.

However, Kirby Smart has Mike "Slot Bubble Screen" Bobo.

If this mix on offense in Athens is like the 2012 unit, I could see a Mike Bobo offense being able to go score-for-score with a genuinely great offense. However, we have a decade of data saying that probably won't be the case.

I'm guessing you are still trying to get on the UGA board, but don't you think 38-10 is over the top. If we don't lose to Bama I will be shocked, but I don't see 38-10 either way.

When it was a black market, the dollars were smaller. In that case, players were more likely to choose where they'd get developed (so they can make real money in the NFL) and win.

Since it is above board now, the dollars are larger so they just take the biggest number even if they won't get developed.

I would love to think you are correct but I don't think we have either the OL or DL to play at the level Indiana did that season.
