The last time we played in Austin, you lost.
Yeah you were ranked 17th (9-3), and we went 5-7 that year, so congrats I guess.
Look, I know you guys are excited, and it's starting to seep out of the woodwork, and I can't blame you cause it's gotta be exciting, but excuse me if I don't think your defense is the '85 Bears, while your offense is the greatest show on turf like Aggies I'm running into will have me believe. Let's just see how you do against a team that has guys who can hit back, and so far you only played 1 team that could, and it was close.

Honestly, comparing each other’s teams, I legitimately don’t see how you win.
:rotflmao:These guys have looked all world because you've beaten 4 SEC teams that's fired their coaches, Miss St, and played 2 other arse teams. 1 ranked win. Seriously, you can never ever talk schedule smack again. Let's just see how you do on the road in Austin. You guys talked this much shite once, then lost to Case McCoy. Case, not Colt, McCoy.

I think A&M is a bad match up for Texas. Texas can't run the ball, and they can't throw it deep. It's all a short passing game, and that's not going to light up the scoreboard against A&M. And A&M's offense has progressed to the point where it sure looks like they will score points against everyone.
:rotflmao: :rotflmao:And your team hasn't seen what 4 quarters of real pressure looks like either. PK will throw body after body at your offense. If this game were in College Station, yeah I'd be scared, but the Texas defense at home is a different story, provided you don't get away with massive holds like you did up in South Bend. You guys are gonna Aggie it up. It's what you do.

So, when was the last time you were ranked #1?

How bout you? Remember when y'all were #1?

Let me add. I did not watch one second of any other conf games. Not one. Only got updates from app or TV updates..
No matter who makes the playoffs, as a football fanatic it’s so awesome to watch these games week after week. A majority of NFL draft picks will come from this conference and I really enjoy watching these very young players perform.
Yep I just left my main channel on ABC it was great.
re: Texas. If you play like you did tonight the rest of the season

A&M fans should give up on life if their team loses to this Manning. He is garbage.
Oh they will.

I think some of the UTrans fans are a little upset that A&M is having the season they thought they were going to have.
I personally thought 3-4 losses, so I guess we're on the same wavelength still.

Congrats on taking Kentucky to OT. That is quite the accomplishment
Almost as proud as you beating us 15 years ago. :rotflmao: Congrats.

Yeah, plus he was young and everyone was excited.
But I can't judge Herman now, cause for all I know he could've been a monster with a Texas NIL checkbook, assuming someone said, "hey moron, "you need more 5 star lineman and not wide receivers and DBs."

Nothing is off this year.
texsa has lost 23 players to the NFL draft in 2024 and 2025. All of those players that carried texsa to a big XII championship and a playoff birth in year one of SEC play are gone now. Ewers, the pancake factory, all those WRs, Robinson, Blue, several DTs, DBs and TEs.
All gone.
People were delusional to rank texsa #1 and think texsa was just going to keep on trucking with that much draft carnage. It was never going to happen.
Minus the texsa weirdness, that is a damn fine post.

Ags have said this many times. Seldom does it benefit you to have Texas in your conference. If you beat them, they eventually suck bad enough to where it doesn’t help your rankings. And if you don’t their press pumps them up to be world beaters. It’s a no win situation. Wins against Texas won’t count as a ranked win in the final analysis in most seasons.
Do you at least get paid decently to be a professional victim?
quote:
we don't belong there. We should be booted out. Anyone who predicts Texas to win it all as long as Sark is here is a fricking moron and should probably lose their sports credentials. Sark is 13–28 against teams that were ranked at the end of the season. that's who he is. We don't belong anywhere near that list.
Yup. I remember being dismissive of what the Udub and SC Trojans boards said about him, and now it's all starting to come to fruition. Well hopefully without the sauce though.
re: Arch Manning causes me to have serious doubt about the recruiting process.

We wasted four seasons money for a Motel 6 talent.
:violin:
Good. If it were a top 50 poll, we still wouldn't belong there. I wish the player's Lambos would have some type of ignition lock, but instead of blowing into it to start the car, you had to download the latest rankings, and no top 25, no car start. I'd laugh my arse off. :dude:

Aggie fans posting on this site will NEVER see their football team win it all in their lifetime. Ever. But hey, rejoice in the Texas loss, as we all know you're enjoying it more than your own win.

Arch doesn’t need to be benched. That was a total team loss. The entire team was exposed as frauds. Look at the stats, the beating was much worse than the score. Arch is the only one who kept it close. The so called “elite” Texas defense was torched for 457 yards. Defensive line, linebacker and secondary were all outplayed and out coached. The offensive line was horrific! Arch was sacked 6 times. The Texas running game was putrid. Really? The University of Texas only gained 50 yards all day? This was a team disaster of a performance against a 1-3 team. Only Penn State was a bigger embarrassment in the country yesterday. Sark and the DC need to be benched, not Arch.
And Flood. And Banks.
