BTW, I've consistently heard College Station is one of, if not the worst road trip in the SEC.
We’re fine with you staying home.

A&M players are still experiencing PTSD from last year's trip to Columbia, SC and will lose by double digits this weekend in Columbia, MO. Book it.

If you want to see a city as well as a game, then CS is not for you.
If you just want the game aspect, CS is as good as any.

I've been to games at Missouri (2021 was my most recent trip). It's OK, but it's just not as attractive as most other SEC venues. We had very good turnouts in Fayetteville and Baton Rouge. Columbia is just one hell of a long trip without a whole lot of compelling reasons to go beyond the football game.
There are only 3 SEC schools that are further from Columbia than A&M: Texas (by 8 minutes, according to Google), Florida and South Carolina. When they look at annual opponents next time around, I think that will be one point that they may try to address--it's nuts that A&M and Missouri are being paired together.

Aggies travel well to rivalry games when the team is good. Bowl games in the past usually have had a good crowd.
If BAS ever gets cured there will be an uptick in other road games.

That’s what I meant. CS is forgettable, game atmosphere is cool, minus the man-leaders.

To be perfectly honest... if we can only manage 333 yards in Formula 1 Missouri we probably don't deserve to win.

We don't travel well ... to Missouri... it's flyover country. We prefer places actually in the south.

I've got a friend whose made every A&M game, home and away, save 4, since 1990. He's skipping this one to go to Vegas, that's how much he's not impressed by Columbia.
A&M isn't even sending a pep band to this one, for the fist time in years.

Sorry for not being a city/commuter school?

We understand. You gotta stick to the trips you can afford.

Oh a simulator decided it. That seals it for me.

There are direct flights to COMO from Dallas, Chicago and Denver if you choose to connect or happen to be from one of those locations. But those are admittedly pricey. For major airports - StL to COMO is about 1.5 hours. Houston airports to College Station, about 1.5 hours. Atlanta to Athens, GA about 1.5 hours. Atlanta to Auburn, about 1.5 hours. etc, etc. So BFE looks to be about 1.5 hours no matter where it is.
I will note that right now I-70 is a statewide construction zone stretching from StL to Columbia to KC. When done it will be 3 full lanes each direction across the whole state, and that drive will get even easier.
Can't speak too much to tailgating, but you likely have a point there as Mizzou has never had a huge reputation for that. Not sure what you are looking for in terms of "traditions" - there are plenty of traditions (and good food) at Mizzou, but sorry there are no male cheerleaders dressed like milk men.

I don’t understand why y’all are upset we don’t want to come. Is this really that big of a deal?
A&M had an away game in South Bend.
Away game in Fayetteville (first time in a while).
Away game in Baton Rouge.
Away game in Austin.
My guess is most Aggies saw all those as more attractive road games (they are) and planned accordingly.
Missouri is beautiful in the fall, but it’s still not enough to make me want to go.

Yeah, I figured they'd be relieved not having to worry about a bunch of Aggies stealing their women.

Is Missouri's QB hurt? Did I imagine that?

They'll be playing their third-string QB, actually — freshman Matt Zollers. QB2 Beau Pribula was injured against Vandy, and QB1 (redshirt junior) Sam Horn suffered a season-ending injury in week 1.
Not a lot of film for the Ags to prepare against the freshman.

I think this is much simpler:
Win Probability
Aggies team 70.5%
Tigers team 29.5%
The Aggies have a 70.5% chance of beating the Tigers based off the odds.
