Need to keep winning so we can get into the top 16 and host a Regional.

I’m pretty sure we are already a lock for a host now

Yup. When it comes to postseason play LSU, Vandy, MSU, USC know what we are doing. The newbies get stage fright

Not good for Kentucky......I am placing my bets on this one. I would be happy for Hogs to take the win. Just helps our overall ranking even more. Go Hogs!!

I'd expect him to be on a low pitch count just to get him some work before regionals.

Meh...hopefully just 2-3 innings. Really wanted to see Tygart get a chance to get his issues worked out before regional play. Molina was very solid in his 40+ pitches at aTm last weekend.

Gator, who was the pitcher y'all had that was forced to DH, had 1 AB and it was a homer?

In the way back time machine. Did he ever make the Bigs as a pitcher?

Still my favorite. LSU pitcher Todd Peterson hit a double in the top of the 12th inning to give LSU the lead in the SECT against South Carolina and then pitched the bottom of the 12 to win. It was his only AB of his college career.

That was a hell of a catch to rob the home run

Tip of the cap to the center fielder. Heck of a catch.

I went back to 2013 and reviewed teams that have won and top 4 seeds who have gone 0-2.

SEC Tourney Champs
10% Win it All
20% CWS Final
10% CWS
30% Supers
30% Regionals

Top 4 Seed 2nQ (only 5x)
20% Win it All
20% CWS Final
0% CWS
40% Supers
20% Regionals

The sample is tiny, but I don't see any correlation to doing well or poorly in the actual postseason based on the SECT.
