We’ll be 10-2 or 9-3. Probably 10-2.

do believe your fanbase was shell shocked at the support Ole Miss showed in the CWS. You think that was rough? Wait until you head to LSU at night or Mississippi State and those cowbells, or South Carolina watching that stadium shake like an earthquake or 105,000 Orange Clad Hillbillies throwing mustard bottles and golf balls at you...

OU will have the 8th largest SEC stadium barely above Arkansas and USCe

Aggy always loses at least 2 games they shouldn’t. I think their ceiling is 9-3, floor is 7-5. I don’t trust their QB whoever it is to win big games and take a game over if needed.

9-3 It’s enough to keep the Aggies happy with Jimbo.

The delusion of OU fans is that when you get to the SEC and you have to play real athletes, teams like Ole Miss, Miss St, TN and Florida will wear you down.

They'll find out "Sooner" enough.

I think they lose to Miami, Arky, Bama, and LSU - if they play badly against MSU or OM those could be trap games as well

then they will lose every single commit

Until we see consistent QB performance from whoever ends up QB1, it is hard to predict. Rest of the team looks to be pretty solid. Hard to imagine our QB is not at least better than what we had last year in Calzada (minus his miracle Bama game)

If we have decent QB play, I think OP is probably correct at 9-3, losing to Bama plus 2 more.

If we have good QB play, 10 wins is possible. With less than average QB play, probably another 8-4. I don't see us losing more than 4 with the talent we have, even if our QB sucks again.

This is why no one takes you guys seriously, you guys are on new coaches, new playbooks, new QB, half those SEC teams have the same or more nfl prospects, but you’d only lose to Bama right? Good grief

It’s OU my guy. It’s a playoff caliber roster, and the coaches are Saban level dialed in, Venables is actually a lot like saban when it comes to details and preparation. Reports out of camp and fall practice are that this will be the most physical and disciplined OU team since early stoops teams.

In order of probability, I'd say:

1. 9-3 (50%)
2. 8-4 (21%)
3. 10-2 (19%)
4. 7-5 (5%)
5. 11-1 (3%)
6. Other (2%)

Top 2 factors will be how they respond to losing Elko and some key contributors on D after fielding the #3 defense and also how the QB situation shakes out.

They've typically performed better at home under Jimbo, and I think their schedule this year benefits them in that regard with some of the bigger toss-up games at home (Ole Miss, UF, LSU). The true road games are all opponents that could be fully capable of beating them but could also completely flop this year (Miss St, Auburn, South Carolina)

You wish. I'm sure we will be around 8-4 but 7-5 or worse is just a pipe dream from delusional fans.

We won eight last year with the worst A&M QB in modern history.
