I recall it vividly as the beginning of an era.
It may end this year, but no recruit that stayed for 3 years at Bama under Saban has not won a NC. That is still kind of cool.

Is it? SEC is a meat grinder with each team having MLB talent. The goal is to make it to Omaha to have a shot at a title.
