ESPN finally got women to watch sports, they have salivated about that untapped market forever. Just wait till they start targeting then directly

Did you know that only 5 college football games had higher numbers last season?
How many televised CFB gams were available on those dates? As opposed to 2 WBB E8 games yesterday?
Thanks.

It’s a legit question. Context is needed to clarify the ratings claim.
And I’m perfectly fine with our MBB program as opposed to our WBB program.
Good luck in your thrilling NIT semifinal tonight.

I can believe a high profile women’s game draws viewers.
The difference in men’s and women’s sports is the viewers of the lesser games. Mens still draw decent numbers, nobody watches crappy women teams

I don’t think you naysayers understand the meaning behind the OP.
tRant goes on and on about blah blah blah.. this sport blows.. that sport doesn’t count.. and it turns out.. this game was kind of a big deal..
Clark is about to get paid. Idk by who yet.. but she is getting hers..
But the college product is likely to fall back some. BUT.. there is a whole generation of young females who might stay in sports a little bit longer because of her..
Turns out there is a market if the talent is there.. we shall see if anything comes from it..

The fact that a womens game, not even the championship game, could beat out the NBA finals is astounding no matter how many of you want to dismiss it.
nba is a china league
most people in north america aren’t interested in that shite…

It took the highest rated women’s bball game in the history of the sport to beat the least watched WS in the history of the sport. That’ll show em.

If you wanna draw that comparison, lemme hurt you even more:
This game got more views than the averages of the last 4 world series.

We’ve been telling you LSU fans for years that no one gives a shite about baseball.

It’s not that nobody cares. It’s just that those who do are really old and each generation has way less baseball fans than the one before it.
WBB is the opposite and it doesn’t hurt the NCAA that the WNBA is basically unbearable for a lot of the population.

Fewer than 4 out of every 100 people you have sex with today watch the game
Impossible, as this board is mostly Bama fans, that number would be 0, and you cannot divide 0 by anything. Reason being, they wait til marriage cuz Jesus, and between the time they get engaged and their honeymoon, they’ve both gained so much weight that their genitals simply do not exist.
Scissoring would be an option but good luck prying her legs apart, as they are perpetually stuck together by feces and years of unnoticed discharge.

The only people who seem to give each shite are LSU fans. No one else gives a frick about watching women's basketball

that could name 4 players in the game
I can name more women in their tournament than the men's. It's pretty sad that the great men's players don't last in college, so you don't get to know them, their story, their struggles to get where they're at.

12.3 is the best the most attractive game in women's basketball history could do?

This isn't an even remotely intelligent comment, and you still found 20 retards to upvote it.
A total of 12.3 million Americans watched ALL the women's basketball available to be watched that night.
Now go back and tell us how many Americans watched all the college football available to be watched on any given Saturday afternoon or evening.
On November 18, while only 5.73M watching Georgia-Tennessee led the country, over 17 million collectively were watching all the games being broadcast in that time slot. That's 17M Americans watching all the football on at 4:00 PM, compared to only 12M watching all the women's basketball on in that time slot.
