If Louie's is not near the top, list is invalid.

The "Five and Ten" (not "Fice and Ten") in Athens is second fiddle to The National. Same owners though.

You left off... #9 Cinco Y Diez, Athens, GA

Plan on eating there this weekend for the first time.

In same location as the old Five and Ten before they moved, and also owned by the same syndicate.

on top of that, 4 of the ones listed for NOLA don't belong in a top 15 list for NOLA by itself

Which ones?

I love every NOLA place they listed. Maybe I wouldn't put it on the list, but they are all great places.

List is poop. They list Wash. D.C. restaurant. South? No fricking way.

Where are all the KC, STL joints? South, right?

Yep, there are lots of places that the list makers have never been that could be added to the list. I don't know why people get so riled up about these opinion pieces. It's clear, whoever made the list, spent a lot of time in Nashville though.

Commander's Palace is no longer a top 10 place in nola, Toup's is a neat little place, but not a top 15 in NOLA, Domenica MAY crack a top 25 list. How any other John Besh restaurant can make a list over August is beyond me. They have 2 Donald link restaurants, yet not his best one (Herbsaint)

I am not saying they are bad places, just not tops in the city

Table 310 in Lexington is on the list, but left off the OP. It's great but I honestly enjoy the owners' new Beer Hall venture more.

It is excellent.

My wife made reservations last year for my birthday. We were going after AU/UGA. She was worried if AU lost, we would have a miserable evening.

Atlanta is an international culinary city. NOLA makes NOLA food, which is good.
