Pretty good troll on Texas AM, but remember, they have been in the SEC, not in the weal Big 12.

Texas A&M played 12 seasons in the Big 12 since 2000

They won 10 games in 0/12 seasons therein.

I know it wasn't the point of the thread, but Missou sitting above Auburn and Tennessee is interesting.

I guess you can't lose Big 6 status, but those two at least need to be on some kind of probation.

The more layers we peel back on A&M, the sadder it gets.

Also, has anyone mentioned they sold foreign nuclear research to the Saudis for $1B? Shameful.

Wut?

There’s clearly a revised big 6 there.

Part of the reason we catch all the hate on here. The other expansion schools hate the fact that we were the best addition to the SEC ... since it started expanding.

There’s no way OM is only 1 above Arkansas with how their program is a legendary juggernaut and the best coach ever.

Great self-own. I'm glad that we can all agree that Arkansas has a shitty football program, and that it's amazing that Ole Miss, the acknowledged better program, has only one more 10 win season than shitty Arkansas.

Is Texas trying to make a statement that they’re relevant. Texas hasn’t won a Big 12 since 09 and a natty in almost 20 years AND you can’t compare apples to apples with your big 12 conference and the SEC conference. Texas schools try too hard.

To be honest the timeframe for this isn't great.

While starting with a round number like "2000" feels good (because it's big and it's round), there is a big reason to set it later... and that's the number of games in a season.

Prior to 2002, the regular season in college football was 11 games. In 2002 and 2003 it was 12 games, then went back to 11 in 2004 and 2005 then went to 12 for good in 2006 and beyond.

A flat mark like "winning 10 games" is harder in an 11 game season than a 12 game season. For a measure like that, it's better to start in 2006.

Hasn't really stopped us like it has them. They can't get out of their own way though.

Missouri
2000-11 (88) 7.3
2012-23 (86) 7.2

Texas A&M
2000-11 (79) 6.6
2012-23 (97) 8.1

A&M wins 1.5 more games per year in the SEC than they did in the Big 12. Missouri is about even.

Conference Records
Missouri
Big 12 Record 00-11 (49-48)
SEC Record 12-23 (47-50)

Texas A&M
Big 12 Record 00-11 (46-51)
SEC Record 12-23 (52-45)

What a pathetic post. We had Ed Orgeron, Houston Nutt and Matt Luke as our head coaches for 3+ seasons each over the last 23 years and still have more ten-win seasons than Arkansas in that time frame.
