All of these lines are ranked there based on players and performances from the past year (except Clemson).

LSU is ranked there because it looks like they’ll finally have a true 3-4 NT (so the tackles can play their natural position) and Chaisson returning. I actually think that’s too high and it’s still wait and see if the NT position is as solid as people think and if Chaisson is fully recovered and ready to break out.

Are you talking about the big freshman?

That dude has some body work to do to become a SEC DT.

Isn’t Chaisson a LB in the scheme?

Michigan State’s DL is legit.

This one jumps out. Clemson has none of their starters back. I realize they rotate and have good players behind them, but there have to be more teams with more established players returning and we can guess they will have similar production.

At DE, Clemson will have a top 5 position group. Loaded with legit top flight talent that has experience in the system and depth. At DT we might be top 25... maybe.. I wouldn't put us in the top 10 as a DL at this point.

By the end of the season I think the overall DL unit will be very good, but there are too many unknowns to put us top 10. Overall D is going to be salty with our secondary being a strength of the team this year.

You're ignorant bro. There's a good chance AJ Epenesa from Iowa will be the first DL off the board in 2020. Bama wanted him BAD and you better believe Kirby would have cut off hia left nut just to get Epenesa to return his phone calls

He is, but he plays on the LOS. I'm assuming when ranking DLs, they are looking at the 4 guys that play on the line regardless of what they are called in their respective schemes.

I'm talking about the combo of the big frosh and Shelvin. I think both guys will be SEC ready by 10/12. I'm not counting Vandy for obvious reasons.
