You see those two tents to the left of the arch? Those are mine. The 30 minutes or so before the players walked through sucked so bad, I've never seen it that crowded. We usually barricade the outside of the tents with chairs but people will still leak through to try and take a shortcut. Whenever OM fans would get through we would let them pass, but when LSU fans tried to come through me and my buddies would stand up in their way and make them turn around.

That is one reason why I never placed my tents on the Walk of Champions. Mine was always in front of the Thad Cochran Research Center right on the edge of the Grove and University Ave. I had 6 big tents. No way I was fighting those crowds during the walk.

Same here. My step-dad used to setup at that exact spot (Left of the Walk of Champions arch). I thought it was dumb as hell. I was over more toward University avenue. It was awesome and I didn't have to worry about the cluster f.

I loved our location. Perfect location. Easy to load and unload.
