I hate these types of threads myself so if any admins want to delete I don't have any issue with it.

I've got a very close friend who's brother works in the compliance department(i know, i know). He said that they have had quite a few off the record conversations with the NCAA about this well before the story leaked. NCAA has already cleared Bama.

Everything you hear from here on out will be nothing but theater and grandstanding.

Take it. Leave it. I don't care.

I'll allow it.

ETA: It really is comforting to read that.

Wasn't worried, this only makes me more sure there is nothing to worry about.

The John Phillips statement that recently came out would seem to support this. Appears compliance has been on this since at least May and Phillips has at least a plausible explanation as to why he paid Luther Davis.

My cousin's girlfriend's brother in law knows a guy whose sister works in the NCAA. It's true.

I was much more concerned until I heard virtually every "NCAA expert", including the author of the story, say that nothing would be done to Alabama by the NCAA.

I agree, he did for yahoosports hits. Later that same night he released a story saying nothin would happen. But the haters on the rant have appeared to have won some type of internet national championship. And it has already been vacated.

You of all people should know that there is no "Disengage" or "OFF" button for Bama FAP time.
