All this baseball talk is kilIin' me - I love some MLB, but college baseball is not even comparable to the minors to me. So, I have a hard time paying attention, even if its my team.

Honestly if Alabama was really good at baseball, I'd probably check if they won or not...I've literally never watched an entire baseball game in my life.

A college baseball team that wins the national championship in Omaha would probably be swept by the worst A team in the minors. That's why I don't care.

And your ill-conceived notions of college baseball talent isn't the reason you don't care; it's b/c your team sucks.

A lot of SEC stadiums are on par or better than a lot of minor league venues. And a lot of players on good sec teams turn down big league signing bonuses to come play in college. So basically your argument is invalid.
College baseball at good SEC programs is everything most minor league parks wish they could offer fans.

This.
I love baseball but I'd rather go watch a Barons game here in Bham - potential pros, wood bats, ect. It just has a better feel. I take a baseball trip once a year (went to Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Louis to see my Cards last year) and college baseball is so far down the chain of what real ball is, it is just kinda hard to watch for me and I think many people.
