Kudos to the players. Severely outmanned but made the plays. Kiffin refuses to trust his defense. Hate it for them.

Should’ve left the guy who holds the “book” of what do, at home.

He served no purpose. Lane was all gas

Should have kicked the field goal. Didn’t make much sense.

The calls were fine. The execution was not. We have a QB playing hurt and the whole WR corps out hurt. To win that game, we needed some big plays and that takes big risks. It just wasn't in the cards. The D played outstanding, after the 1st quarter.

no, they weren’t. Sometimes fourth down is worth going for. Sometimes you need to take your head out of your analysts’ arse and use your brain to tell you to kick a routine fg

We left too many points on the board tonight. Nothing wrong with kicking fgs

I don't see why we went for it on the last 4th and Costa had been reliable all night. Make it a 1 score game there and see what to do for the next series... dumb play calling there

Tough to do much offensively with so many key guys banged up. The defense actually gave us a chance last night. We need to get some guys back healthy or the end of the season could be a drag.

It's easier to get 2 TDs than a FG and TD +2pt conversion. It's simple logic if some of you would care to follow.

You've got it backwards. That was the only right time to go for it. The playcall was a disaster though.

The 3rd quarter calls were likely Lane not trusting the defense which, after the 1st half, yeah I get it.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but the play that stood out to me was that INT in the endzone. Wasn't that a first down play? No need to make that throw. It seemed like Corral slipped into a bad habit there.

It seemed like the whole second half we were on the cusp of scoring and turning the momentum, and then shite went sideways.

At that point in the game it was 20-31 with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

How many field goals had we passed on at this point?

I believe it was at least 2, but may have been 3.

Corral was playing desperately because we were so far behind. We HAD to score a TD here to just stay in the game. If we had taken the field goals we would've still been in it and shite, we could've even just gotten another FG here.

Getting into the redzone and scoring ZERO points is demoralizing. Even if it's just a FG, walking away with SOMETHING from the redzone is better.

I'm still pissed we didn't just take the points throughout the game to at least keep us in it at the end. To be clear, I REALLY like Lane Kiffin. But passing on FGs in the redzone during a close game is really hard for me to come to terms with.

We bypassed 3 FG’s and I would submit Coral wouldn’t felt the need to go for that pass had we had it closer. That would be 12 pts in an 11 pt loss……Additionally, Auburn wouldn’t have been able to play it “safe” in the 2nd half.

1. There's no guarantee he makes all four FG attempts
2. If you're going to say we should have kicked every time, then take the TD we scored after going on 4th and short off the board. That's at least minus 4 points
3. It's a HUGE leap to say Corral wouldn't throw the INT. He's an aggressive player. We were down just 11 with 9 minutes to go. It was first down. It wasn't desperation time

We probably aren’t even having this conversation if we had had most of our horses against Auburn. It’s pretty much just that simple.

I ride or die with Lane. If he never kicks another friend goal again, I support him being in Oxford. We shouldn’t run him off. He is a coveted coach and has an opportunity to leave Oxford every single time a job comes open.
