So you care more about his regular season stats that him hitting over .400 in post season where it matters? Make it make sense.

The whole picture matters, yes. You can’t look at just a few games of solid performance and think that’s indicative of they type of player they are most of the time.

Yep.

The last thing we want to do is pay someone SEC starting SS money when he was unplayable at the position and at batting for 3+ months just because he got hot for 2 weeks.

Even with his great playoff, he was essentially the least productive player in the league with substantial playing time. I say this as a huge fan of the kid.

So far, not impressed with the pitchers we're picking up in the portal. At least this dude has a sub 5 ERA, I guess.

Apparently Cade and Fed just closed on a house together - so real smoke around both returning next season over going pro.

No offense to Fed, but he had an underwhelming Freshman season and was absolutely atrocious the first half of this (Sophomore) season.

He definitely got hot at the plate in April and May. And he is a wizard with the glove. But he absolutely needs at least one more year before he takes the next step.

If Cade comes back what are the chances that Rabe comes back?

Maybe bianco knows something and that is why the portal has been so underwhelming.

If Rabe, Cade, and Hunter all come back it would be wild.

Yeah he got granted some sort of medical waiver and can return next year.

Not sure he has a real MLB future so may take one last NIL payday

I hope Oklahoma wins tonight but I think Carolina wins a close one.

All I can think watching this is poor Arkansas. Another SEC team winning a national title before them
