I think it might be because the NCAA is set to rule on his appeal next week. I wouldn't be surprised if that is denied we then quickly file a TRO / PI. But if we win the appeal, we can just drop the suit without ever needing to rush a hearing.

Any updates on this ? I saw our National Championship Odds are +4000.

In theory, you want to take Ole Miss now and those odds will change to +3200 or +3500 if Trinidad is cleared. Just some advice for the gamble-a-holics on here.

A Miami player was just granted his 8th year of eligibility. But Trinidad can't get approved for a 3rd year on the field is bullshite. I hate the NCAA.

Saw this today. Dude has been playing since 2019. He can start his pension withdrawals.

This is why I’m not worried.

Still no word? Ty Simpson entering the draft means Trinidad will get pushed down the nfl draft list a bit.

It’s not surprising. They have to defend their legitimacy where they can. And we need to ignore it where it benefits us.

This was always going to be decided in court.

The NCAA just granted a guy an 8th year. Picking Trinidad as the hill to die on is just weird as frick.

I really hope that the NCAA gets absolutely embarrassed in court.

I’m guessing it’s our “punishment” for the tampering stuff

They also denied an Oklahoma player seeking a 5th year because as a Freshman at a different school he played in 1 lacrosse game and that counts as a season

If we can burn the NCAA in any fashion I wholeheartedly endorse it. I want to watch them suffer and die.

The NCAA is fighting back hard in court using his own medical documentation against him. The tonsillectomy did not occur until late 2024.

The only question that needs to be answered is whether he meets the requirements set out in the rules.

No. The only question this judge will answer is whether Chambliss has met the requirements to receive a temporary injunction while the case makes its way through the courts.
