Yep. Other than Week 1, every single game we have played as been a one score game. We are just incapable of putting anyone away early it seems.

Well, other than Tulane (45-10) and Georgia State (63-7), they've all been touch and go.

Yeah i mean if the coach doesn’t go for it on our own 17 up 12 for some reason and fails , and then playing Simmons on the goal line when we should’ve gotten a TD … that game had no business being so close

We've just gotta make Sellers beat us with his arm, and we should win pretty comfortably.

Under Beamer, South Carolina is 2-2 in SEC games after losing a one-score conference game. Their two wins were against teams that finished a combined 12-14. Their first loss was a 22 point loss to an 11-win Missouri team on the road and their second was a loss to then #14 OU on 10/18/2025 (OU is currently ranked #18). So any thought they may lay down can be dispensed with.

They've really struggled in road conference games under Beamer. They're 5-13 on the road. The five teams they've beaten have a combined 25-34 record.

Here is their road conference record.
09/18/2021 - 40-13 loss at #1 Georgia (0-1)
10/09/2021 - 45-20 loss at 7-6 Tennessee (0-2)
10/23/2021 - 44-14 loss at #25 Texas A&M (0-3)
11/13/2021 - 31-28 loss at 6-7 Mizzou (0-4)
09/10/2022 - 44-30 loss at 7-6 Arkansas (0-5)
10/08/2022 - 24-14 win at 7-6 Kentucky (1-5)
11/05/2022 - 38-27 win at 5-7 Vanderbilt (2-5)

11/12/2022 - 38-6 loss at 6-7 Florida (2-6)
09/16/2023 - 24-14 loss at #4 Georgia (2-7)
09/30/2023 - 41-20 loss at #17 Tennessee (2-8)
10/21/2023 - 34-12 loss at #8 Missouri (2-9)
10/28/2023 - 30-10 loss at 7-6 Texas A&M (2-10)
09/07/2024 - 31-6 win at 4-8 Kentucky (3-10)
10/12/2024 - 27-25 loss at #17 Alabama (3-11)
10/19/2024 - 35-9 win at 6-7 Oklahoma (4-11)
11/09/2024 - 28-7 win at 7-6 Vanderbilt (5-11)

09/20/2025 - 29-20 loss at #19 Missouri (5-12)
10/11/2025 - 20-10 loss at 5-3 LSU (5-13)

If we can jump on them early and force Sellers to press we can put them away. The worst thing we could do is come out flat and let them hang around. They are a couple of big plays from laying down for the season no sense in letting them up off the mat.

Vicari Swain for the cocks has 3 punt returns for TDs. That will need to be contained.

I’m working in Charleston but staying in a campground by Lake Marion. It’s a bit of a hike but finding campgrounds that take monthly stays near Charleston is difficult.
