I remember the last time WKU played in our regional. They had some huge dude (had to be pushing or over 300 pounds) absolutely crush a ball and our right fielder ran into the fence and the ball dropped. Any other player hits that and it’s a stand up triple. That dude slid into second so he didn’t get thrown out. All the WKU fans went nuts and said that’s the furthest they had ever seen him run

Ga Tech was in our 2014 regional but we never played them. Let’s run that year back

Best pitching performance I've ever seen a Rebel put on at Swayze came against Western Kentucky. Pomeranz struck out 16 on only 2 days rest. Had a no no into the 7th I think. But then Virginia came to town the next weekend.....

So what's the deal with tickets? Vivid and Stubhub are showing nothing. Which is assume means that season tickets aren't valid because no one is selling theirs? Will they be available through the ticket office???

I definitely understand the frustration with Bianco, but the guy has done one helluva job for yall this year. Losing what yall did to the portal/draft and still hosting in a year where the SEC was tougher than it has ever been is no small feat.

Thanks. Does anyone know when the starters are announced? I guess Bianco can play it close to the vest and not announce until game day?.or is there some rule about when he has to announce?

The Crazy Swayzies Exchange Facebook group is a good place to snag tickets as well.

What are GA rules? Do I need to bring my own chair to outfield?

Curious about this too...

I've mostly been to midweek and some lowkey weekend games so left field has been easy to find a spot to plop down with a chair and cooler right at game time.

I assume rules are the same (byo chair and cooler w/ no glass in your cooler) but curious if bringing a chair is even worth it with the potential crowds.

I've stepped away from the "Fire Bianco" drum at the moment but so much for the idea that O'Conner will never leave UVA

UVAs AD is a complete frick up. A tenured, legendary coach that built your program from the ground up leaving due to lack of support (when there is more than enough money to do so) is a major indictment on her ability to do the job.

I’m a few hours from UVA. There is zero care from alumni when it comes to sports outside of basketball….and even then, it’s iffy. It’s a social justice school for rich kids from DC families.

I’ve watched a few baseball games outside of the regionals and they have decent support it seems. Not Mississippi State level but it’s enough that you wouldn’t think it’s something he would leave over

You’ll have to be there at least a couple hours before the gates even open to sit in line for the chance at a spot this weekend

This is why UVA should never ever get in the SEC. I don't want those social justice frickers anywhere near our conference.
