I think this game comes down to our 3 point shooting and not getting killed on rebounds. We’ve been red hot from three this tournament and Michigan State is one of the best teams at defending the 3 ball. We just can’t let Michigan State out rebound us by double digits. Whatever happens this has been a hell of a basketball season and better seasons will come as long as Beard is here.

I was afraid when we hired Carter he would be Pete Boone 2.0, so glad I was wrong

Terrible minute there for Murray. Ugly shot and then loses his man for an open 3.

Ugh. Sucks to lose that game. But Sweet 16 in year 2 of Beard is a massive sign we are going in the right direction. Make sure money isn’t a reason he leaves

Incredible season. We just missed too many good looks in the 2nd half and their guards got to the basket over and over again down the stretch. Will miss watching some of these guys play

Sucks for it to end but it was a great run

Curious to see how the rebuild will be for next year

Beards proven he can do it here. Didn’t take long for that part

Definitely was a game we could have won, but I didn't see us having a chance against Auburn on Sunday.

We were up by like 8 in the 2nd half and the announcer said "Ole Miss has a chance to make their first Elite 8"... I knew that was probably the jinx that would strike us down

Sucks to lose, but I'm all in on Beard at this point. This team didn't have a true superstar and was not top 16 in talent and we beat two good teams to get here and had every chance to win tonight.

While Beard is here we need to give him every resource to succeed. He's a hell of a coach and we are very lucky to have him

I do think after the debacle that was Kermit and how bad and boring that brand was, people were wanting a proof of concept for Beard before buying all the way in and contributing hard for NIL.

They’ve seen what he’s capable of and I think that will definitely benefit the program going forward

I’ve never been more proud of a team after a loss than I am right now. Everyone played above their level all year and never gave up. Definition of leaving it all out there on the court. They had nothing left to give.

Yeah that team was not top 16 in talent and punched above their weight all year. Nothing but respect for that group of players.

Now need to hit the portal hard and build around Dia for next year. We are loosing 8 seniors
