You can make an argument that this is the best Ole Miss basketball team of all time. The fact that it only took two years for Chris Beard to accomplish this is incredible.

Get in price for Friday night is $600. Actual good tickets are $1000 and that’s before flights/hotel. I was in Milwaukee but don’t think I’ll make Atlanta. Might have been affordable if Auburn had lost.

I know we are a 6 seed and all but looking at everyone else in the sweet 16

Man, looking back on when we hired Beard, it was down to him, Dusty May or Will Wade. Dusty May has Michigan in the Sweet 16 his first year there and Wade had McNeese in the second round.

I hope there’s a bunch of rebel fans in Atlanta this weekend. I would be there but I’m a single dad this weekend and there’s a travel ball tourney to attend

That Sunday night ticket will be interesting if Ole Mis wins and Auburn loses. All those Spartans and Tigers would cut out of ATL and Elite 8 prices would be super cheap.

I've seen some posts saying we don't belong in the Sweet 16 or lucked into our draw ?!? That doesn't make sense. We've beaten 1/3 of the teams in the Sweet 16. One on the road and others on a neutral floor. This Rebel team definitely belongs. That's why MSU is only a 3 point favorite.

Alright boys here are some interesting outcomes of games for Michigan State this season.
MSU 94 - UNC 91 (OT)
Memphis 71 - MSU 64
MSU 80 - Illinois 78
USC 70 - MSU 64
UCLA 63 - MSU 61
Indiana 71 - MSU 67
MSU has been playing really well lately though. But they are clearly not unbeatable. They shot 18 more free throws than New Mexico State and still barely won.

Izzo teams always start out the year shitty, are ok middle of the year then the last half of the year they turn it on and start beating everyone. We are playing them at their best.

What a great day for Ole Miss athletics. Of course it could all come crashing down between baseball and basketball in a matter of hours, but I will enjoy it while I have it. Maybe we find ourselves still alive when the sun comes up tomorrow.
