Pick six. And pick in the red zone. 14 points.

Ealy announced he’s done. Transfer? Dude definitely isn’t good enough for the league. He had some good moments but never lived up to the hype. Should’ve been starting Snoop or Parrish ahead of him for a while now

yea if you ignore the pick 6, the other INT in our own redzone that resulted in a TD, the several other INTs that Baylor dropped, he didn't too bad.

It’s surprising it was just this bad when we had a matador OL…..10 sacks by a Big12 defense is unacceptable.

Wasn’t Baylor known for their D line coming into this game? So let’s not take too much away from them. This was the best team they have ever had and if we don’t lose our best player, we likely still win. But you just ain’t gonna win them all and tonight was not our night. If I have to lose to anybody in the Big 12, it is definitely Baylor. That said, you can’t give up 10 sacks to anybody and not get any, that’s any, yourself. Where was Sam Williams when he wasn’t getting held?

As for Ealy, I don’t know what his deal is but he doesn’t look to be NFL ready to me for sure. If he is, then we sure as hell didn’t utilize him enough and I just don’t think that’s the case. Whatever he decides to do though I wish him the very best. I think he’s a Rebel at heart.

It was almost like the ghost of Matt Luke was coaching our O Line tonight.

I was at the game and thinking exactly that. Also, can Altmyer not throw a slant? Why did we try sweeping left end 20 times when it never worked?

Baylor defense seemed to have everything covered.

They didn't drop back to pass. 40 yards passing. Offensively, all they wanted to do was run out the clock the moment they had a lead.

I don’t get why he declared best of luck to him though

Altmyer gave them 14. The loss is on him.

wut?

You're pinning a loss against arguably the best front-7 we've faced all year on a True Freshman that's only played 5 meaningful snaps?

No kidding. Sure you'd wish he didn't throw the picks, but he played pretty well for the situation he was thrust into.

He did as well as anyone could expect. He definitely has the arm talent. Still TBD about consistent accuracy and decision making, but that's the way with almost all freshmen.

Corral threw a much worse pick than the 2 Luke threw. One of his was just a hell of a play by the DE(I think that play was even designed for him to slide into the flats to help cover).

Also there was very little run game to take pressure off him and their defense front was in the backfield all the time. Tough to tell much about his future under those circumstances

That front 7 looked better than anyone we've faced the last two years.

I’m saying he gave Baylor 14 points. And we missed 2 field goals. If that doesn’t happen we still win the game.

Gonna be a long season next year.

They looked like it because our OL was not hitting run blocking assignments, did horrible jobs handling stunts and couldn’t handle Iita whatsoever…..make no mistake Baylor has a good DL but they aren’t better than what we see year in year out from Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M etc… Quite plainly our OL didn’t step off the bus last night and that is what cost us the game.

It wasn't just that they weren't hitting run blocking assignments. They were in our backfield on passing plays before receivers could get downfield. Our OLine got manhandled. That's a BIG front 7 and it was a complete physical mismatch. We got pushed around more than any team we've faced....including Bama.

If they had a passing game worth a shite they would be in the playoffs.

Drummond I can somewhat understand. Ealy is a fricking moron for declaring.

I get declaring if you’re grading at a second round or better. If you declare early and your grade is below that then you’re beyond stupid
