I agree. F Charlie Weiss. We told Kiffin no but want to let this jackass back? I got downvoted for saying so yesterday. How soon we forget his '24 play calling.

Romaro Miller commented on this yesterday from a QB’s perspective. He said no QB wants a new play caller coming in, especially for something as big as the playoffs. I hate it as much as you do, but the continuity will give us the best shot at rolling deep.

Side note, every time I see Ro’s name I can still hear it being called over the speakers like it was yesterday. “RO-MARE-OH Miller with the pass. FIRST DOWN….Ooooole Miss”.

My impression from the Cross interview is that fans won’t see much traction on that front until after Sunday’s final CFP announcement at the earliest.

[Thamel] Sources: Florida is expected to hire Buster Faulkner as the school's next offensive coordinator. He's the successful OC at Georgia Tech, who brings SEC experience from to stints at Georgia.

There seems to be a lot of debate over whether Weiss actually signed a contract or just a term sheet. This does not mean I am advocating to bring him back.

One thing is for sure, I do not want Nix like other OM fans do. I don't want him at all. If we don't keep Weiss, we should throw a bank at Petrino.

Petrino as OC? That's something I haven't heard anyone throw out there. Wouldn't be a bad idea. I still want to go after Kendal first if Jr can't be convinced to leave Kiffin's shadow.

Absolutely not. Aside from the whole history of him being a shitbird, his offense wasn’t even that great. Passing offense on par with app state, rush offense on par with Liberty, and scoring offense on par with FSU.

And that’s including 108 points in 2 games against Alabama A&M and Arkansas state.

Jordan Davis, OC, North Texas: The 32-year old has only been an Offensive Coordinator for a short amount of time. However, over the past two seasons Davis has worked with the wide receivers, orchestrated the Mean Green’s offense and generated impressive numbers during that span. North Texas averaged 495.8 yards per game in 2023, which ranked sixth in the FBS. Not to mention the Mean Green finished 12th nationally in passing offense, and 21st in rushing offense and points per game that year. His unit led the AAC, and ranked third nationally in total offense last season. The Mean Green even averaged 32.5 points per game. On top of that, Davis had a potent aerial attack, and North Texas finished fourth in passing offense.

Similar question to Weiss though, is that his offense or Eric Morris’s?
