I am messing with you of course I want what's best long term which is why I have been calling Kiffin a gayfer for weeks now. Keith has enough rope at the moment that I still trust that he will make the necessary changes to keep us rolling.

I was trying to remember who the OC was before Weiss. Didn’t realize he ended up at ECU. #34 offense in SP+ isn’t bad. And they were in the conference race until 2 weeks ago.

I expect overall for things to start coming out on the Ole Miss side tomorrow after a really quiet day today. The Rebels spent the day fighting for staff and trying to fend off LSU — matching and giving raises to relevant coaches and staff members. The timing yesterday was a cluster. And remember they are dealing with staff for CFP and staff for the permanent. Not everyone is both.
LSU had to pay Ole Miss a 7-figure buyout to sign Weis.
He signed with the Tigers, as reported tonight by Wilson Alexander.
Weis is expected to call plays in the CFP for the Rebels. We’ll see if he gets on the plane. Ole Miss has a plan. We’ll see over this month what takes shape. I know you have a ton of questions. I’m answering what I can but some aren’t answerable or known yet.

I don't know how LSU or any school outside of Texas or Texas A&M maybe Ohio State can spend this kind of money and not get into financial trouble...we will see what happens when they tell Kiffin... uh we will try or No we can't

There's no way in hell that LSU has that kind of money. They are banking on future success bringing in the money. They are basically playing keno hoping to get the pot before they have to really cash out.

You can not bring anyone back that was on that plane. The moment they took off the tarmac it is Ole Miss Machine vrs Kiffin! Two most important games for Rebs future are first playoff game and next year LSU game! I know it is quick but I would like OC and rest of staff filled by 7:00 today. Kieth has to look like he had a plan! The playoffs are all about money and no first round game will bring more eyes than ours. We can’t look like we need anyone off LSU’s staff to help! frick those guys!!

A lean towards agreeing with you with the caveat of what information did the assistance have that left? Were they given an ultimatum if they wanna come back and remain on staff, I would be willing to take them back as a frick you to LSU and Kiffin. Hey, we made a rash decision we got over here. We realize we made a mistake and we want to come back.

If it helps our program, IMO they can come back. Especially this soon. But it might take a little while for me to get warm and fuzzy about them again, granted.
