Miami opens up, and they offer a deal or maybe lesser, his life is Florida, he’s out. He loves Florida.
You think he’s gonna have time to take the boat out after practice if he lives in Miami

Huge if true. If OM wants to stay relevant, you pay the man whatever it takes.

At some point we would run out of money...? I'm guessing this is old money.

People who think Miami is a top-tier job are blinded by their glory days, which were a long time ago. They do not invest in their program and that is reflected in the guys they have been able to attract over the last 20 years or so - career assistants, a HC from a lower level program and a guy who just got fired by Georgia.

Say what you will but Miami is a whole lot better than Oxford. Anyway Miami is ACC. Despite the facilities Miami is better. I mean who doesn’t want to play in Miami?

There are starting to be some (small) rumors that VT may be interested in Lebby as their next HC.
With Napier going to Florida, I think VT is having to rethink their search.

Miami has earned a reputation as a coaching grave yard.

I’m a little bit worried about LSU, since they seem to be striking out on their top candidates

If the other candidates are refusing them, what are you worried about? LSU has not been a good job for a while. There is something about that place that coaches don't like. Let's face it. They settled for coach O because there was not much interest in the job from top candidates then either. They threw the bank at Jimbo just to have him refuse and then take the A&M job later. The administration is toxic. The school is bankrupt. The location is Baton Rouge. They need to go get a good Sunbelt coach or a coordinator.

If some kind of extension has been signed it needs to made public today

It’s been rumored but we need ink on paper and a public statement ASAP. I’m sure Carter knows this

There’s no way Sexton has his client’s signing jack shite right now unfortunately.
It’s leverage week for him

This is biggest draw back for college football. Instead of heading hunting just get one that has success now and offer millions. Screw it, right? Give me your coach now.

If I’m a recruit or coach I would rather be at Mississippi and I’m a Mississippi State fan. Miami is just Nebraska with a turnover chain.
