And the SEC is voting on Thursday to kick us out of the conference. Kiffin just hates being told No and for some reason administrators have a hard time standing up to him and making decisions themselves.

For the LSU fans screenshotting this, I am not disputing he is a top 5 offensive coach. But he is a narcissist who only cares about keeping the spotlight on himself by whatever means necessary. And I am so glad we are off that roller coaster.

No way in hell would Keith have allowed Kiffin to try to bring back players that didn't make an NFL team. LSU's AD is just a figure head.

Keith Carter telling him no is why he is no longer Ole Miss coach.. We had him on lock down unlike LSWHO. Lane knew if he step out line too much he would been fired by KC.. Ole Miss already been thru wild coaches thru out the years learnt not to put up with no BS anymore.

In this alternate reality did he still fly his family to Gainesville and Baton Rouge? If so half of our fans would still be pissed

Include me in that half. I'm glad that Crazy Train is gone.

There’s no way Keith would let it get to that point.

The funniest thing to me is the LSU fans acting like they’re the bastions of morality, and grandstanding about how “unfair” it is to the poor players that they can’t come back to college after failing in the NFL. Everyone in the world knows if kiffin was still here and it was us pulling this, that the corndogs would be screaming from the rooftops the loudest about how we should be expelled and given the death penalty.
Personally, I do wish they would get kicked out. Put the coonasses in their place. They have the ego of Alabama with the history of penis state. And it isn’t a stretch at all to say that until saban, we were an equal if not better program than them. Back to the cellar you go.

They don't realize if its allowed. It would open a box of players trying goto draft early that don't drafted trying come back to collage and play again.. More then a one year thing.. Most people don't realize that!

exactly, there would be nothing stopping a fournette or nkemdiche (obviously they’re both probably too old to try and do it) or some other highly ranked HS player that left college after 3 years who maybe didn’t live up to NFL expectations from coming back and getting one last big pay day. The can of worms it’ll open up is limitless but they don’t care.

He was kicked out of a local Taco Mac for being drunk and ordered to go food then ate at the bar to avoid tipping. Such a shame.

You know what's 100% wild to think about? This entirely timeline of events was started by one singular event - Elijah Moore taking a piss causing us to lose the Egg Bowl

The SEC has a problem with lane. LSU fires him and this goes away.

Yes and no. The SEC currently views their ability to make and enforce rules critical to their future. The SEC (and probably the Big 10) want to be able to operate outside of the NCAA because (a) the NCAA can't make and enforce rules and (b) they views a break away league as better financially.

Whether they are ultimately correct or not, the SEC (and it's member institutions) view what Lane and LSU have done as a direct threat on their ability to make and enforce rules. They view it essentially as an attack on the conference and it's future viability.

Poetic justice would be LSU fires him with cause and Golding hires him back to an off field analyst position.
