This is for sure a fact. He will bend the rules as far as he can without breaking them. The morality be damned and the optics of doing such a thing also be damned, regardless of whatever that rule may be.
He was on shorter leash at Ole Miss for sure and he still pushed. At LSU he has complete freedom and they love him for it. I've never seen a more priority confused fan base, anywhere. They'd rather be kicked out of the SEC as long as they have Lane. Well....what happens when he better deals you? Their arrogance is astounding.
Obviously, they're not going to fire Lane but the irony of him using the term rat poison when it's been nothing but toxic press and drama since the end of November at LSU, you cannot ignore it. It's "hate," no its willful denial. When a narcissist fades from the spotlight they cannot handle it. The grift has got to continue one way or another. Bad press is still press and its attention; which is what they seek. But they will NEVER self-reflect, there will never be a moment where they step back and say, maybe it's me. It's just another game for him without the players. He's the main character and it's a battle of will. He's bathing in this.

If kiffin were doing this at Ole Miss, we would 100% be kick from the SEC and then we probably also get shunned by all major conferences
